Moreover, social cognition is activated by cognitive units called schemas. Cognitive processes cannot be directly seen; they have to be inferred on the basis of externally shown behaviour. There are other examples of social influence that are in the form of observable behaviour.

The electrical resistance of a wire would be expected to be greater for a longer wire, less for a wire of larger cross sectional area, and would be expected to depend upon the material out of which the wire is made. The resistance of a wire can be expressed as R=ρ L/A,
where,
ρ - Resistivity - the factor in the resistance which takes into account the nature of the material is the resistivity
L - Length of the conductor
A - Area of cross section of the conductor.
From this relation, we observe that the length is directly proportional to the resistance and the area of cross section is inversely proportional to the resistance.
That is, if L becomes 2 L, R becomes 2 R. R′=ρ 2L/A. So, R = 2R'.
Hence, If the length of a wire is doubled, then its resistance becomes 2 times.

The Chaitya was divided into three parts, and had an apsidal ending, that is, a semicircular rear end, The central part of the hall (also called the nave) was separated from the two aisles by two rows of pillars, The chaityas also had polished interior walls, semicircular roofs and horse-shoe shaped windows called the Chaitya windows. The muslims gave a lukewarm response to the civil disobedience movement because:
- After the decline of non cooperation khilafat movement, a large section of Muslims felt alienated from the Congress.
- From the mid 1920s the congress came to be more associated with Hindu religious nationalist groups like Hindu mahasabha.
- As relations between Hindus and muslims worsened, each community organised religious procession with militant fervour provoking hindu-muslim communal clashes and riots in various cities.

Mrs Dorling was a greedy woman who did not return the belongings to the narrator. She herself had offered to take Mrs S's things to her home to take care of them as long as they would be away. Mrs S had entrusted the task of taking care of her things before leaving to save their life from Nazi soldiers. After the war when the narrator returned, and went to her house to take her mother's things back, she did not welcome her with a smile. She kept her standing at the door, and asked her to come some other day. Her selfish, inconsiderate and avaricious behavior hurt the already hurt narrator. Her intentions of misappropriating the author's mother's goods were quite clear.
Mrs S was a great Jew woman who became victim of war. She had been living peacefully in Holland with her daughter, the author when they had to leave in hurry to save their life. Mrs S was a perfect homemaker. She had an admirable collection of household things such as crockery, cutlery, and upholstery. She took meticulous care of them, and often cleaned them. Mrs S had given her precious and expensive household things to Mrs Dorling with the intention of taking them back after the war was over. The unfortunate Mrs S didn't live long enough to go back to Holland, and claim her things back from Mrs Dorling.

The Big Bang Theory is an astrophysical model of the universe that can be observed by human senses. The theory gives details about the origins of the universe from its early formations to its modern-day evolutions.
The Big Bang Theory explains how the universe expanded from an initial state of extremely high density and high temperature by offering a detailed explanation of observed phenomena, radiation, an abundance of light elements, and large-scale structures.
What does the Big Bang Theory state?
The Big Bang Theory states that the universe began to cool down sufficiently in order to allow the formation of particles that would later become atoms after its initial phase of expansion. Primordial elements – Hydrogen, Helium, and Lithium – condensed through gravity that formed early stars and galaxies. In simpler terms, it can be stated that the universe inflated into the cosmic system 13.8 billion years ago to form the galaxy and the solar system as we know it.

PH3(Phosphine) is a hydride of phosphorous. Phosphine is a gas and has pyramidal structure.Phosphorous involved sp3 hybridized. Both PH4+ PH3 have sp3 hybridisation state for phosphorous. In PH4+, all the four orbitals are bonded, whereas in PH3, there is a lone pair electrons on phosphorous inPH4+, the H-P-H bond angle is tetrahedral angle of 109.50. But in PH3, lone pair-bond pair repulsion is more than bond pair- bond pair repulsion so, that bond angles become less than normal tetrahedral angle. The bond angle in PH3 is about 93.60

The Khilafat Non-Cooperation Movement was launched by the Indian national Congress in 1920 under the leadership of Gandhi. Main causes for launching the Non-cooperation Movement were:
- The treatment meted out by the British government to the Caliph of Turkey disturbed the Indian Muslims as he was seen as their religious head. As a result, they started the Khilafat Movement.
- Gandhi saw this as an opportunity to achieve the much desired Hindu-Muslim unity. He advised the Khilafat Committee to adopt a policy of non-cooperation with the British government. The Khilafat leaders agreed and campaigned accordingly. Thus, the Khilafat Movement furthered the cause of the Non-cooperation Movement.
- The Rowlatt Act of 1919 authorised the British government to arrest and imprison any person without trial and convict him in a court. Also, the Act implied severe restrictions on movements of individuals and suspension of the Right of Habeas Corpus. This was seen as a major breach of trust by Indians who were expecting the British to deliver on their promise of providing self-government. Gandhi appealed to the Viceroy to withhold his consent to the Act but his plea fell on deaf ears.
- The Jalianwala Bagh massacre and the subsequent British reaction to it was a watershed event in the Indian freedom struggle. It led to a huge furor all over the country and hardened the Congress resolve to attain self government.
- The Rowlatt satyagraha had been a widespread movement, it was still limited mostly to cities and towns. Gandhi now felt the need to launch a more broad-based movement in India which finally resulted in the launching of the Non Cooperation movement.

The earliest recorded calculating device is the abacus. Used as a simple computing device for performing arithmetic, the abacus most likely appeared first in Babylonia (now Iraq) over 5000 years ago. Its more familiar form today is derived from the Chinese version pictured below.
The Slide Rule : As mentioned earlier, John Napier had introduced the use of logarithms. Subsequently, he collaborated with fellow mathematician Henry Briggs (1561-1630), converting his original logarithmic calculations to the more familiar base-10 representation used today.
