Iodoform test is used to check the presence of carbonyl compounds with the structure R-CO-CH3 or alcohols with the structure R-CH(OH)-CH3 in a given unknown substance.
When Iodine and sodium hydroxide are added to a compound that contains either a methyl ketone or a secondary alcohol with a methyl group in the alpha position, a pale yellow precipitate of iodoform or triiodomethane is formed. It can be used to identify aldehydes or ketones. If an aldehyde gives a positive iodoform test, then it must be acetaldehyde since it is the only aldehyde with a CH3C=O group. Given below are a few example reactions for positive iodoform tests.

m4 -18m²n²+81n4
=(m2)2-18m²n²+(9n2)2
( a- b)2 = a2 - 2ab + b2
So, (m2)2-18m²n²+(9n2)2 = (m2 - 9n2)2

The law of variable proportions state that as the quantity of one factor is increased, keeping the other factors fixed, the marginal product of that factor will eventually decline. The law of variable proportions is as follows: “If a producer increases the units of a variable factor while keeping other factors fixed, then initially the total product increases at an increasing rate, then it increases at a diminishing rate, and finally starts declining.”

The 1848 revolution of the liberals refers to the various national movements pioneered by educated middle classes alongside the revolts of the poor, unemployed and starving peasants and workers in Europe. The Frankfurt Parliament was called to discuss reforms and attempt to draft a constitution for a unified Germany. This was seen as the best way to stop the political unrest. The constitution was completed in March 1849: the German states were to be united as a German Empire headed by a German Emperor.

Sewage can be treated close to where the sewage is created, which may be called a "decentralized" system or even an "on-site" system (in septic tanks, biofilters or aerobic treatment systems). Alternatively, sewage can be collected and transported by a network of pipes and pump stations to a municipal treatment plant.

Price elasticity of supply = % change in quantity supplied / % change in price
Therefore, Price elasticity of supply= ((120-100)/(120+100))*( (5-4)/(5+4))
= 0.80
Since, price elasticity of supply is less than 1, supply of this commodity is inelastic. This means that a shift in price won't drastically affect the supply of the commodity.
