First calculate the total distance traveled using the odometer.

starting reading at 1:25 was 24830 km
end reading at 3:15 was 25005

Therefore total distance traveled was  25005km - 24830km =  175 km

Total time taken between 1:25pm and 3:15 pm  3:15
                                                                           -1:25
                                                                            1hr 50 mins
1 and 5/6 hours = 11/6 hrs

Speed = distance/time
           175 ÷ 11/6    = 175 × 6/11

                              95.45 km/hr

speed in m/s.....multipy by 1000/3600

95.45  × 10/36

= 26.52 meters/second
