Its main function is the packaging and secretion of proteins. It receives proteins from Endoplasmic Reticulum. It packages it into membrane-bound vesicles, which are then transported to various destinations, such as lysosomes, plasma membrane or secretion. They also take part in the transport of lipids and the formation of lysosomes.
Post-translational modification and enzymatic processing occur near the membrane surface in Golgi bodies, e.g. phosphorylation, glycosylation, etc.
Golgi apparatus is the site for the synthesis of various glycolipids, sphingomyelin, etc.
In the plant cells, complex polysaccharides of the cell wall are synthesised in the Golgi apparatus.

The plate movements are classified into three types:
(i) Some plates come towards each other and form convergent boundaries.
(ii) Some plates move away from each other and form divergent boundary.
(iii) At times, they may also move horizontally past each other and form transform boundary.
When two plates come together, they are known as convergent plates. They are also known as constructive plates. When two plates move far away from each other, they are known as divergent plates. When two plates coming towards each other collide or burst pass, they are known as transform plate. The movement of plates causes volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, formation of mountains, etc.

The constant of variation in a direct variation is the constant (unchanged) ratio of two variable quantities.
The formula for direct variation is
y=kx (or y=kx )
where kk is the constant of variation .
The constant of variation in an indirect variation is the constant (unchanged) product between two variable quantities.
The formula for indirect variation is
xy=kx (or y=k/x )
where kk is the constant of variation .

When goods are returned to a supplier, a debit note is prepared to represent the difference in the quantity. It contains the name of the party (supplier) whose account has been debited, along with the amount and details of the bill and the reason for the debit, in reference to which his account has been debited.
On the other hand, when goods are received back from the customer, a credit note is sent to him, indicating that the customer’s account has been credited in the books.

Sulphur sol and gold sol are Lyophobic sols and are unstable and are build to colloidal size from small particles by the Condensation method by Chemical reactions.
Oxidation sulphur sol is prepared by passing H2S into SO2
-
H2S + SO2 → S (sol) + H2O
-
Reduction of AuCl3 with formaldehyde gives gold sol.
AuCl3+ HCHO + 3H2O → Au (sol) + 3HCOOH + 6HCl

Lewis structures (also known as Lewis dot structures or electron dot structures) are diagrams that represent the valence electrons of atoms within a molecule. These Lewis symbols and Lewis structures help visualize the valence electrons of atoms and molecules, whether they exist as lone pairs or within bonds. The outermost central level of energy-containing electrons is called the level of valence and includes electrons of valence. Lewis symbols are diagrams showing the number of valence electrons of a specific element with dots indicating lone pairs.

In physics Coriolis effect is a deflection of moving objects when they are viewed in a rotating reference frame In a reference frame with clockwise rotation, the deflection is to the left of the motion of the object; in one with counter-clockwise rotation, the deflection is to the right.
The Coriolis effect is the one that makes low pressures rotate anti-clockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern. At the equator, the forces cancel each other out. That's why the direction of rotation changes between the two hemispheres.
The Coriolis effect is greatest at the poles and zero at the equator because of the earth's spherical shape. If the surface of the rotating object is flatter, the Coriolis effect will be noticed more.

A polyatomic ion, also known as a molecular ion, is a charged chemical species(ion) composed of two or more atoms covalently bonded or of a metal complex that can be considered to be acting as a single unit.
Eg: SO42−, CO32−

Polyatomic ions: Those ions which are formed from groups of joined atoms are called polyatomic ions.
Compound ions are also called polyatomic ions.
For e.g
Ammonium ion NH4+, is a compound ion which is made up of two types of atoms joined together nitrogen and hydrogen.
Carbonate ion CO3²- , is a compound ions which is made up of two types of atoms joined together carbon and oxygen.
Similarly , sulphate ion SO4²-, Nitrate ion NO3^- , hydroxide ion OH^- e.t.c

mass of each bullet , m = 35 kg = 0.035 kg
velocity of bullet υ=400m/sυ=400m/s
Number of bullets/sec (n) =400/60=20/3
Force required = rate of change of linear momentum of bullets =n(mυ)/t = 20/3 × 0.035×400/1 =93.3N

- Physical capital: Physical capital is the variety of inputs required at every stage during production. It includes fixed capital and working capital.
- Fixed capital: Tools and machines range from a plough to a tractor and sophisticated machines like generators, turbines, computers, etc. The tools, machines, buildings which can be used in production over many years are called fixed capital.
- Working capital: Production requires a variety of raw materials. It requires money to make payments and buy other necessary items. Raw materials and money in hand are called working capital. Unlike tools and machines, these are used up in production.
- For example, Yarn required by a weaver; clay used by a potter.
- Human capital: One needs knowledge and enterprise to be able to put together land, labour and physical capital and produce an output; either to use it by oneself or to sell in the market. This is known as human capital, which enables better production with human skill and knowledge
