h=1 m.  h'=9 m.

t=0.1 s. t'=1 s.

Now force exerted in first case be F and in second case be F'.

Let the mass of man be m.

F= ma = m(change in velocity/change in time) = m(v-0)/t = m(sqrt(2gh))/t

F'=m(sqrt(2gh'))/t'

=> F/F'= sqrt(h/h')*t'/t

=>F/F'= sqrt(1/9) *1/0.1 = 10/3

Hence , F'=(3/10)F.

Social health can be defined as our ability to interact and form meaningful relationships with others. It also relates to how comfortably we can adapt in social situations. Social relationships have an impact on our mental health, physical health and mortality risk.
The former refers to our emotional and psychological state, our social well–being and how we feel about ourselves and interact with others. Mental health is not the same as mental illness, although poor mental health can lead to mental and physical illnesses.

Packaging refers to the process of designing the product’s package such as container, wrapper, etc.
Functions of Packaging :

  1. Product Identification                                                                                                      The package of a product helps the customer to easily identify the product in the market, e.g. Red Label tea in a red colour packing, Taj Mahal tea in blue box pack, etc.
  2. Product Protection                                                                                                           The package of a product protects it from spoilage, breakage, pilferage, leakage, damage, etc. e.g. oil in plastic bottles.
  3. Facilitating use of the Product                                                                                         The package of a product helps the consumer to open, handle and use the product more conveniently, e.g. toothpaste tubes, handwash soap dispenser, etc.
  4. Product Promotion                                                                                                            An attractive package attracts the attention of people and at the same time, provides detailed information about the product, e.g. ferrero rocher chocolates.

The fine purple and gold packaging is meant to portray the rich and creamy taste of Cadbury chocolate.

here exists a third category: force of constraint.

Forces of constraint aren't either conservative or non-conservative forces, because they never do work (positive or negative) of their own (only transmit work from other forces). I suppose if you had to classify a force of constraint, it would be conservative, since it doesn't cause any irreversible processes.

Forces of constraint either always act perpendicular to motion, or prevent motion in their direction.

Conservative forces will have an associated potential energy, such that when such a force does positive work on a body, the body changes from having potential energy to kinetic energy. The opposite occurs when a conservative force slows down said object.

Non-conservative forces are forces for which we aren't really interested in tracking associated energy, and even if we were interested it tracking said energy, processes involving non-conservative forces are irreversible, and it is useless to define an associated potential energy.

percentage decrease in acceleration due to gravity is 2%

acceleration due to gravity of earth depends on height from its surface.

g = g0/(1 + h/r)²

given, h = 64 km, radius of the earth, r = 6400 km

so, g = g0/(1 + 64/6400)² = g0/(1 + 0.01)²

⇒g =g0/(1.01)²

decrease in g, ∆g = g0 - g

= g0 - g0/(1.01)²

= g0[ (1.01² - 1)/(1.01)² ]

now percentage change in acceleration due to gravity, ∆g/g0 × 100 = (1.01² - 1)/(1.01)² × 100 = 1.97 % ≈ 2%

  • A German scientist, E.Goldstein modified the discharge tube and passed an electric current through it.
  • He found that positively charged rays were emitted from the anode in the discharge tube. These rays were called 'Canal Rays'.
  • When an electric field was applied, these rays deflected towards the negatively charged plate. Thus, Goldstein concluded that an atom contains positively charged particles along with the electrons.
  • These positively charged particles were named as 'protons' by a British scientist, Ernest Rutherford.
  • Canal rays were also called anode rays since they emitted from anode (electrode connected to positive terminal of high voltage source) in the gas discharge experiments using perforated cathode.
