A concave mirror has a reflective surface that is curved inward and away from the light source. Concave mirrors reflect light inward to one focal point. Unlike convex mirrors, the image formed by a concave mirror shows different image types depending on the distance between the object and the mirror.

The growth of new plants from vegetative parts of the plant like roots, stem, and leaves other than the seeds is called vegetative propagation. Various artificial methods of vegetative propagation are:
- Cutting: Small piece of plant parts like roots, stem or leaves is cut and used for propagation. Examples: Rose, sugarcane etc.
- Layering: It is the process where roots are induced when a stem comes in contact with the ground. Examples: Grapevine, mango etc.
- Grafting: It is a process of joining a part of a living plant like a stem or bud to another plant and they grow as one plant. Examples: Lime, lemon etc.
- Propagation by plant tissue culture: In this method, plant cells are cultured in an artificial culture media, where a cell divides into an undifferentiated mass of cells called callus which is transferred to different nutrient mediums to grow into plantlets.
In natural methods of vegetative propagation underground roots [Root tubers of Dahlia] or underground stems [bulbs of onions, rhizomes of ginger] or adventitious buds on leaves [Bryophyllum] grow into new plants.

You need to know the equation of motion. The force for the pendulum is given by F=−kx. Newtons equation tell you F=ma=mx¨. So you need to solve
mx¨=−kx.(1)
You know that the solution will be of oscillatory form. So you set x=Acos(2πt/T) and you want to obtain T. Plugging this ansatz into the equation (1), you obtain
−m(2π)2T2Acos(2πt/T)=−kAcos(2πt/T).
You see that the equation is fulfilled if
m(2π)2T2=k.
Solving for T, you obtain the result.

Plasma membrane is the selectively permeable membrane that surrounds the cell and allows the entry and exit of selected materials of the cell. If it ruptures, the contents of the cell will come in direct contact with the surrounding medium and not only unwanted material will be able to enter freely into the cell, but useful material will also find its way out of the cell easily. This will seriously disrupt the various metabolic activities of the cell and will result in its eminent death.
