Definition:- When an abstract idea (for instance, greed, envy, freedom, liberty) is expressed through a person or a thing, it is called an allegory. An allegorical story has two meanings, one literal and one symbolic. Explanation:- It was used to personify the nations in the nineteenth century for visualising the nation among people. The female figures becomes the allegory of a nation because females are the one who sacrifices more. These figure were not real person but it contained some idea like Liberty, Justice and the Republic. Examples:- Christened Marianne was the allegory of France. Germania was the allegory of German nation.

Every election was won by PRI in Mexico until 2000 through unfair means. They spent money on campaigns for candidates, they forced government workers to join PRI party meetings, they forced government school teachers to force the parents of the students to vote PRI,they changed the polling booths in last minute. For these reasons they won every elections until 2000.
