Let us begin by trying to understand the title of this subject — ‘Human Ecology and Family Sciences’ (HEFS). The dictionary explains the term ‘ecology’ in two ways. Firstly, it is referred to as a branch of Biology that deals with relations between living organisms and their environment. Secondly, it is stated to be a complex of relationships between an organism and its environment. Borrowing from biology, in our context, the ‘living organism’ is the human being, and hence the term ‘Human’ precedes ‘Ecology’.

Temporary changed are called physical change

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago (2898529)

Physical Changes

  1. The changes in which no new substance is formed are called physical changes.
  2. The molecular composition remains totally same.
  3. For example, the molecular composition of ice and water is not changed.
  4. The energy needed to bring a physical change is equal to the amount of energy required to reverse the change. There is no change in energy.
  5. The changes are reversible and temporary. The reaction gets reversed if the cause producing the change is removed. For example, water on freezing forms ice and ice on melting forms water.
  6. Examples of physical change
    1. Dissolution of sugar in water
    2. Melting of ice
    3. Freezing of water
    4. Boiling of water
    5. Melting of wax

An electrical fuse is rated as two ampere means that the fuse has a capacity to hold of resist up to 2A current

In simple terms if a wire holds a current value of 2A then the fuse can hold it and will not melt where as if the current in the wire is more than 2A then the fuse will melt instantly and break the circuit

a21 = a + 20d a7 = a + 6d ATQ, a21-a7=84 a+20d-(a+6d) = 84 a - a + 20d - 6d = 84 14d = 84 d = 84/14 d = 6.

Vandana 🇮🇳 5 years, 4 months ago (9725305)

a21-a7=84 (a+(n-1) d) - (a+(n-1)d)=84 We know the value of n and a and d is common. Soo.. (a+(21-1)d) - (a+(7-1)d)=84 (a+20d) - (a+6d)=84 a+20d-a-6d=84 Sign change because i have open the bracket and a got cancel as opposite sign. 20d-6d=84 14d=84 d=84÷14 d=6 So 6 is the answer.

Bastille was used as a royal prison and also as fortress gate for the city of Paris. The Paris Commune order led to the demolition of the prison.

In July 1789, an angry mob laid siege on the fortress of Bastille. The day the bastille was attacked by the angry people, there were very few prisoners who were held in the prison and also the number of guards who guarded the fortress was less. The people were thus able to overwhelm the guards and also arrested and murdered the governor. The people claimed the bastille.

When quicklime (calcium oxide) is added to water filled in a bucket, they react chemically to form slaked lime (calcium hydroxide) and produce heat energy. So, water in the bucket becomes hot.

CaO + H2O  → Ca(OH)2 + Heat

Anne Frank was undoubtedly not only a great writer but also a wonderful individual. However what makes her diary and her writing exceptional is the circumstances in which it was penned.

You are running for your life from an entire government hell bent on getting you and your entire community killed. You have to hide in an attic apartment with two other families with constant fear of getting caught, murdered or worst - thrown in a ghetto and tortured. In my opinion what makes her writing and her diary exceptional is the fact that it is a story of a girl who refused to let go of her principals just because the circumstances made it hard to hold on to them. It is exceptional because it is a document of a time when men and women and children survived beating impossible obstacles.

What I absolutely adored about her was the clarity of her thoughts. She was opinionated but she was not biased. Add in the fact that her ideas and way of living was far ahead than her contemporaries.

I need to have something besides and a children to devote myself to! I don’t want to have lived in vain like most people. I want to be useful or bring enjoyment to all people I have never met.

The young lady thought in volumes. We all know how tiring and stressful teenage years can get. And to live in circumstances like she did- devoid of normal childhood and teenage years and yet to not let it affect your spirits is in itself comendable .

She was an exceptional human being. And she was an exceptional writer
