Advantages of digital communication:

1. It is fast and easier.

2. No paper is wasted.

3. The messages can be stored in the device for longer times, without being damaged, unlike paper files that easily get damages or attacked by insects.

4. Digital communication can be done over large distances through internet and other things.

5. It is comparatively cheaper and the work which requires a lot of people can be done simply by one person as folders and other such facilities can be maintained.

6. It removes semantic barriers because the written data can be easily chaned to different languages using software.

7. It provides facilities like video conferencing which save a lot of time, money and effort.

Disadvantages:

1. It is unreliable as the messages cannot be recognised by signatures. Though software can be developed for this, yet the softwares can be easily hacked.

2. Sometimes, the quickness of digital communication is harmful as messages can be sent with the click of a mouse. The person oes not think and sends the message at an impulse.

3. Digital Communication has completely ignored the human touch. A personal touch cannot be established because all the computers will have the same font!

4. The establishment of Digital Communication causes degradation of the environment in some cases. "Electronic waste" is an example. The vibes given out by the telephone and cell phone towers are so strong that they can kill small birds. In fact the common sparrow has vanished due to so many towers coming up as the vibrations hit them on the head.

5. Digital Communication has made the whole wordl to be an "office." The people carry their work to places where they are supposed to relax. The whole world has been made into an office. Even in the office, digital communication causes problems because personal messages can come on your cell phone, internet, etc.

A collision is said to have taken place if two bodies interact with each other and undergo a change in momentum and / or kinetic energy.

Types of Collision

(a) Perfectly Elastic Collision

A collision is said to be perfectly elastic if law of conservation of momentum and that of kinetic energy hold good during the collision.

(b) Inelastic Collision

A collision is said to be inelastic if law of conservation of momentum holds good during collision while that of kinetic energy is not.

A collision is an event where momentum or kinetic energy is transferred from one object to another. ...
There are two general types of collisions in physics: elastic and inelastic.
An inelastic collisions occurs when two objects collide and do not bounce away from each other.
An elastic collision occurs when the two objects "bounce" apart when they collide. Two rubber balls are a good example.

Positive- In India many people are still poor. Normative- India should take steps to reduce poverty.

Yogita Ingle 5 years ago (2577571)

Positive Economics is a part of economics that contemplates the explanation and elucidation of economic occurrence. It concentrates on certainty and cause-and-effect behavioural association and incorporates the development and trial of economics thesis.

Normative Economics is an outlook on economics that contemplates normative or ideologically dictatorial, discernment toward economic enhancement, statements, investment projects and framework. Disparate to positive economics, which depends on intentional data analysis, normative economics decisively solicitude itself with value discernment and statements of “what has to be” rather than certitude based on cause-and-effect declarations. Normative economics manifests ideological judgement about what may be the outcome in an economic pursuit if public policy changes are made.

There are three major types of stress, viz. physical and environmental, psychological and social.

1. Physical and Environmental Stress:

Physical stresses are demands that change the state of our body. For example, disabilities, malnutrition, injury, etc.

Environmental stresses are aspects of our surroundings that are often unavoidable such as air-pollution, noise, crowding, heat, etc. They can also be catastrophic events or disasters such as fires, earthquakes or floods.

2. Psychological Stress Internal Sources of Stress:

(a) Frustation: Results from the blocking of needs and motives by something or someone that hinders us from achieving a desired goal. There could be a number of causes of frustration such as social discrimination, inter-personal hurt, low grades in school, etc.

(b) Conflict: It may occur between two or more incompatible needs or motives. e.g., whether to study psychology or sociology.

(c) Pressure:• Social Pressures: It may be brought about from people who make excessive demands on us. This can cause even greater pressure when we have to work with them. Also, there are people with whom we face inter-personal difficulties, e.g., ego issues.

3. Social Stress:

It is induced from external factors and results from interaction with other people. Social events like death or illness in the family, strained relationships, rapid social change, poverty, discrimination and lack of social support are examples of social stress. These social stresses vary widely from person to person. e.g., living in a colony where extremely heterogeneous socio-economic groups live together.

We know that,
sec A = 1/cos A
⇒ cos A = 1/sec A
cos²A + sin²A = 1
⇒  sin²A = 1 – cos²A
⇒  sin²A = 1 – (1/sec²A)                          (cosA= 1/secA)
⇒  sin²A = (sec²A-1)/sec²A

⇒sinA = √((sec²A-1)/sec²A)

sinA = √(sec²A-1) ÷ (secA)............................(i)

sin A = 1/cosec A
⇒ cosec A = 1/sin A

cosecA= secA ÷√sec²A-1                 (from eq i)
Now,
sec²A – tan²A = 1
⇒ tan²A = sec²A + 1

tanA = √sec²A + 1.....................................(ii)

tan A = 1/cot A
⇒ cot A = 1/tan A

cotA  = 1/√sec²A + 1                  (from eq ii)
