Every path has its puddle
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail — Harold R. Mcalindon
Like a river going around an obstacle we too need to move ahead in life by obviating problems and challenges.
Walt Disney asserted, “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” Disney had profound hope in what he was doing when his financial proposal was rejected by more than 150 financial institutions and banks and it was termed crazy!
Henry David Thoreau remarked(American Essayist, Poet and Philosopher, 1817-1862) I have climbed several higher mountains without guide or path, and have found, as might be expected, that it takes only more time and patience commonly than to travel the smoothest highway.
Leader does not walk on the worn-out path that others have treaded. He does not go where the path may lead; instead he goes where there is no path and leaves a trail
in pursuit of his goals. In creating your own path life gains a new meaning. Steve Jobs started a company in one small garage. After few years, he had gifted an Apple I-phone to the world. His path to fame is an illustration of dedication and hard work.
Choosing the right path is significant though walking on it could take a long time in achieving success. There is satisfaction, joy and fun as we move ahead. In my eyes, it has abundant value to add to your life. You gain peace and pleasure by walking on a path consciously chosen by you. It is truth of life. This is what we learn from the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi. For those who do not know, Mahatma Gandhi can be described in just one word – Truth. He stood for truth and walked its path till his death in 1948. He spoke the truth, experimented with truth, discovered truth, preached truth and lived truth. That is the essence of selecting and sticking to one’s chosen path and a chance to prove your worth in lifetime.
Your path may not be easy and rosy but let defeats turn into stepping stone to success.

Chromatin is located in the nucleus of our cell. It is composed of DNA and proteins that condense to form chromosomes. It compresses the DNA structure into a compact unit so that it can fit within the nucleus.
The histone proteins organize the DNA into special structures called nucleosomes. The nucleosome further folds to form a chromatin fibre.

A center-tapped rectifier is a type of full-wave rectifier that uses two diodes connected to the secondary of a center-tapped transformer, as shown in Figure (a). The input voltage is coupled through the transformer to the center-tapped secondary. Half of the total secondary voltage appears between the center tap and each end of the secondary winding as shown.

Figure (a): Full Wave Rectifier Current Path Positive Cycle

Figure (b): Full Wave Rectifier Current Path Negative Cycle

For a positive half-cycle of the input voltage, the polarities of the secondary voltages are as shown in Figure (a). This condition forward-biases diode D1 and reverse-biases diode D2. The current path is through D1 and the load resistor RL, as indicated. For a negative half-cycle of the input voltage, the voltage polarities on the secondary are as shown in Figure (b). This condition reverse-biases D1 and forward-biases D2. The current path is through D2 and RL, as indicated. Because the output current during both the positive and negative portions of the input cycle is in the same direction through the load, the output voltage developed across the load resistor is a full-wave rectified dc voltage, as shown.

The fourth century was a period of cultural and economic changes. This period saw momentous developments in religious life; with the rise of Christianity and Islam. Emperor Diocletian (284-305) started to abandon territories with little strategic or economic value. He fortified the frontiers, reorganized provincial boundaries and separated civilian from military functions. Military commanders were given greater autonomy. Constantine consolidated some of these changes and added his own changes. His main innovation was in the monetary sphere. He introduced a new denomination, the solidus. The solidus was a coin of 4.5 gm of pure gold. His other innovation was the creation of a second capital at Constantinople.
Monetary stability and expanding population stimulated economic growth. All these developments resulted in strong urban prosperity. It was marked by new forms of architecture and an exaggerated sense of luxury.

Biological Oxygen Demand is defined as the amount of dissolved oxygen required by aerobic microorganisms to breakdown the organic materials in a sample of water at a specific temperature & timeframe. In simpler words, The amount of oxygen needed by biological organisms such as bacteria in a given water sample for a breakdown of organic matter by oxidation process is called the Biochemical Oxygen Demand.
- BOD is the biological method used for the measurement of the total amount of dissolved oxygen (DO) used by microbes in the biological process of metabolizing organic molecules present in water.
- The total amount of oxygen gas present in the water is called the dissolved oxygen (DO). The non-compound oxygen present in water may either be a by-product of the photosynthesis of the aquatic plants or the dissolved atmospheric oxygen gas.

The mucus is a substance secreted along the tube by cells lining its walls .Mucus helps food to slide through the canal without doing too much damage to the lining. It also forms a protective covering which keeps the digestive juices, which are inside the lumen of the canal, from coming into contact with the living cells of the walls. So the inner wall of alimentary canal is not digested.

The air containing moisture to its full capacity at a given temperature is said to be saturated. It means that the air at the given temperature is incapable of holding any additional amount of moisture at that stage. The temperature at which saturation occurs in a given sample of air is known as dew point.

When we increase the value of current, the magnetic field associated with it also increases.
When we increase the distance from the coil, the magnetic field produced by a current carrying circular coil decreases.
We know that the magnetic field produced by a current carrying wire at a given point depends directly on the current passing through it. So if we increase the number of turns of the coil, more current will pass through the wire which indicates that the magnetic field associated with it also increases.

Planets are much closer to the earth and are seen as extended sources. So, a planet may be considered as a collection of a large number of point-sized light sources. Although light coming from individual point-sized sources flickers but the total amount of light entering our eye from all the individual point-sized sources average out to be constant. Thereby, planets appear equally bright and there is no twinkling of planets.

Two digit odd positive numbers are 11,13,15,17...........99 are in A.P.
Here a = 11 and d = 2, tn= 99, n = ?
Sum of the n terms = (n/2)[2a+(n -1)d]
But tn = a + (n -1)d
⇒ 99 = 11+ (n-1)2
⇒ 99 -11 = (n-1)2
⇒ 88/2 = (n-1)
∴ n = 45.
subsitute n = 45 in sum of the n terms we obtain
⇒ s45 = (45/2)(2×11 + (45 -1)2)
⇒ s45 = (45/2)(110)
⇒ s45 = 45×55.
⇒ s45 = 2475.
∴sum of all two digit odd positive numbers = 2475.

Overpopulation causes many problems in every day life. The three basic human needs—food, cloth and shelter have assumed alarming prepositions. Fisheries, forests, grasslands and croplands are under severe strain. In many areas they have reached an unsustainable level. People resort to over fishing to obtain protein. Forests are being destroyed to obtain firewood. Grasslands are becoming deserts. Artificial fertilizers have improved the productivity of croplands. Overpopulation hinders development and adversely affects the spread of education and health care among the masses. It is observed that the poor beget more children. It only leads them to unending poverty. More children does not mean more workers but merely more people without work. Thus over-population leads to unemployment. Public transport proves insufficient. We see long queues everywhere. In short, overpopulation leads to deterioration in environment and shortens our lives by causing many diseases.

As Lester Brown said, "We have not inherited this earth from our forefathers; we have borrowed it from our children", we see a transcending concern for the first time in human history— the survival not just of the people but of the planet. We have begun to take a holistic view of the very basis of our existence. The environmental problem does not necessarily signal our demise, it is our passport for the future. The emerging new world vision has ushered in the Era of Responsibility. It is a holistic view, an ecological view, seeing the world as an integrated whole rather than a dissociated collection of parts. Industry has a most crucial role to play in this new Era of Responsibility. Margaret Thatcher once said, “No generation has a freehold on this earth. All we have is a life tenancy — with a full repairing lease”. We have entered an era where people feel a sense of responsibility towards their ailing planet.

Mother’s Day deals with an issue that concerns all women the world over. The position of a woman in We family is pitiable both as a wife and as a mother. She is neglected and ordered about by the entire family. Her duties are unlimited, with no weekend break for recreation or change. Priestley discusses this issue in a humorous and satirical manner. Here are the two faces of woman—the liberated defiant and assertive Mrs Fitzgerald gives a practical demonstration of how the docile Mrs Pearson can become the mistress of her house. She suggests rough treatment as the only effective method. She shocks the family with her smoking, drinking and lighting mood. She is able to do so by using a spell and putting her own spirit into the body of her neighbour. They all feel miserable and agree to do what Mrs Pearson demands. The solution to the problem is a bit harsh, crude and not very practical.
