Political parties contest elections. In most democracies, elections are fought mainly among the candidates put up by the parties. Parties select their candidates in different ways. 2. Parties’ forward different policies and programs and voters choose them from. Each of us may have different opinions and views on what policies are suitable for society. A government is expected to base its policies on the line taken by the Ruling Party. 3. Parties play a decisive role in making laws foe a country. Laws are debated and passed in the legislature. But most of the members of legislature are the members of political parties. 4. Parties form and run the Governments. As we noted last year, the big policy decision are taken by political executive that comes from the political parties. 5. Those parties that lose in the elections play the role of opposition of the parties in power, by voicing different views and criticizing government for its failure or wrong policies

Let the to be subtracted =x x-1/2*1/2= 1/8 ( according to the question) x-1/4= 1/8 ( because 1/2*1/2=1/4) Now take LCM of denominator so the equation is 4x-1/ 4 =1/8 4x-1= 1/8*4 4x= 1/2 +1 4x = 1+2 /2 x= 3/8 Now u can verify why u get 1/ 8 By putting the value

सिंधु नदी विश्वल की महान, नदियों में एक है, तिब्बत में मानसरोवर के निकट से निकलती है और भारत से होकर बहती है और तत्पश्चात् पाकिस्तान से हो कर और अंतत: कराची के निकट अरब सागर में मिल जाती है। भारतीय क्षेत्र में बहने वाली इसकी सहायक नदियों में सतलुज (तिब्बरत से निकलती है), व्यास, रावी, चिनाब, और झेलम है। गंगा ब्रह्मपुत्र मेघना एक अन्य महत्वोपूर्ण प्रणाली है जिसका उप द्रोणी क्षेत्र भागीरथी और अलकनंदा में हैं, जो देवप्रयाग में मिलकर गंगा बन जाती है। यह उत्तरांचल, उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार और प.बंगाल से होकर बहती है। राजमहल की पहाड़ियों के नीचे भागीरथी नदी, जो पुराने समय में मुख्य नदी हुआ करती थी, निकलती है जबकि पद्मा पूरब की ओर बहती है और बांग्लादेश में प्रवेश करती है। ब्रह्मपुत्र ब्रह्मपुत्र तिब्बत से निकलती है, जहाँ इसे सांगपो कहा जाता है और भारत में अरुणाचल प्रदेश तक प्रवेश करने तथा यह काफी लंबी दूरी तय करती है, यहाँ इसे दिहांग कहा जाता है। पासी घाट के निकट देबांग और लोहित ब्रह्मपुत्र नदी से मिल जाती है और यह संयुक्त नदी पूरे असम से होकर एक संकीर्ण घाटी में बहती है। यह घुबरी के अनुप्रवाह में बांग्लादेश में प्रवेश करती है। सहायक नदियाँ यमुना, रामगंगा, घाघरा, गंडक, कोसी, महानदी, और सोन; गंगा की महत्वपूर्ण सहायक नदियाँ है। चंबल और बेतवा महत्वपूर्ण उप सहायक नदियाँ हैं जो गंगा से मिलने से पहले यमुना में मिल जाती हैं। पद्मा और ब्रह्मपुत्र बांग्लादेश में मिलती है और पद्मा अथवा गंगा के रूप में बहती रहती है। भारत में ब्रह्मपुत्र की प्रमुख सहायक नदियाँ सुबनसिरी, जिया भरेली, घनसिरी, पुथिभारी, पागलादिया और मानस हैं। बांग्लादेश में ब्रह्मपुत्र तिस्ताम आदि के प्रवाह में मिल जाती है और अंतत: गंगा में मिल जाती है। मेघना की मुख्यभ नदी बराक नदी मणिपुर की पहाड़ियों में से निकलती है। इसकी महत्वहपूर्ण सहायक नदियाँ मक्कू , ट्रांग, तुईवई, जिरी, सोनई, रुक्वी, कचरवल, घालरेवरी, लांगाचिनी, महुवा और जातिंगा हैं। बराक नदी बांग्लादेश में भैरव बाजार के निकट गंगा-‍ब्रह्मपुत्र के मिलने तक बहती रहती है।

Biogeochemical cycles mainly refer to the movement of nutrients and other elements between biotic and abiotic factors.” The term biogeochemical is derived from “bio” meaning biosphere, “geo” meaning the geological components and “chemical” meaning the elements that move through a cycle. The matter on Earth is conserved and present in the form of atoms. Since matter can neither be created nor destroyed, it is recycled in the earth’s system in various forms. The earth obtains energy from the sun which is radiated back as heat, rest all other elements are present in a closed system. The major elements include: Carbon Hydrogen Nitrogen Oxygen Phosphorus Sulphur These elements are recycled through the biotic and abiotic components of the ecosystem. The atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere are the abiotic components of the ecosystem. Types of Biogeochemical Cycles Biogeochemical cycles are basically divided into two types: Gaseous cycles – Includes Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and the Water cycle. Sedimentary cycles – Includes Sulphur, Phosphorus, Rock cycle, etc.
