The Jews were the worst sufferers in Nazi Germany because:
- The Nazi hatred for Jews was rooted in the traditional Christian hostility towards them. They had been stereotyped as killers of Christ and usurers.
- In Nazi Germany, they lived in separately marked areas called ghettos. They were often persecuted through periodic organised violence and expulsion from the land.
- From 1933 to 1938, 'the Nazis terrorised, pauperised and segregated the Jews, compelling them to leave Germany.
- Hitler believed that ‘the Jewish problem' could be solved only through total elimination. As a result, they were killed on a mass scale in gas chambers.

The electronic configuration of carbon atom is 1s2 2s2 2px1 2py1 . Carbon has four valence electrons.
In order to form ionic compound, it has to either lose four electrons or gain four electrons.
To gain or lose four electrons, very high energy is required.
So, carbon does not form ionic compounds.
It can accommodate four pairs of electrons around it. So, It completes octet by sharing of electrons and forms covalent compounds.

Although the loneliness of Derry dominates the play, there are evident traces of Mr. Lamb’s loneliness throughout the first scene of the play. The old man says that having heard the bees for a long time he knows that they sing, not buzz. It not only depicts how his perception was different from others but also illustrates that he was lonely and that he did not have anyone to be with.
Another evidence of his loneliness is the fact that the whole day he sat in the sun and read books. This proved that books were his only true friends.
By the end of this scene, it became even clearer that he was lonely and sad when he muttered to himself that no one came back to him after the first meeting. Likewise, he did not expect Derry to return. He was so sure that Derry would never return that he climbed the ladder to collect all the apples himself, although Derry had offered to help him after informing his mother. Ironically, the old man would have died unnoticed if Derry had not returned to fill the emptiness of his own life.

Before reaching Champaran, Gandhiji first went to Muzzafarpur to obtain complete information about the conditions of the peasants. He accordingly sent a telegram to Professor J.B. Kripalani. Gandhiji stayed for two days in the home of a government school teacher and scanned the entire situation of the peasants. He scolded the lawyers for charging exorbitant fees and resolved to free the peasants from the fear of the British rule.
