- Bonds are the financial instruments issued by Government agencies and also by Private organizations for raising additional fund from the public. Debentures are issued by private/public companies for raising capital from the investors.
- Bonds are backed by the asset of the issuer whereas debentures are not secured by any of the physical assets or collateral. Debentures are issued and purchased only on the creditworthiness and reputation of the issuing party.
- The interest rate of bonds is generally lower than debentures. The lower interest rate depicts the low-risk factor. On the other hand, debentures give you a high-interest rate but they are unsecured in nature hence the risk factor is more here.
- The interest on a bond is given to the bondholder in monthly, half-yearly or annually. The interest amount never differs as the interest paid is not depended on the performance of the issuer. Adversely, if you buy debentures, your interest rate may be high but the interest payment will be periodic depending on the performance of the issuer.
- There is no to the minimum risk involved in bond investments but the risk factor is high in debentures.
- At the time of liquidation, the bondholders are always given preference.
- If you own bonds, you can never convert it to equity shares, but debentures can be transferred to equity funds.

All tears come out of tear glands, or lacrimal (say: LAH-krum-ul) glands, found way up under your upper eyelids. Tears wash down from the glands and over your eyes. Some of the tears drain out of your eyes through tear ducts, or lacrimal ducts. These ducts are tiny tubes that run between your eyes and your nose. Your tears are produced by lacrimal glands located above your eyes. Tears spread across the surface of the eye when you blink. They then drain into small holes in the corners of your upper and lower lids before traveling through small channels and down your tear ducts to your nose.

When a vehicle goes round a curved road, it requires some centripetal force. While rounding the curve, the wheels of the vehicle have a tendency to leave the curved path and regain the straight line path. Force of friction between wheels and the roads opposes this tendency of the wheels.

Any mechanical quantity can be expressed in terms of three fundamental quantities, mass, length and time. For example, speed is a length divided by time. Force is mass times acceleration, and is therefore a mass times a distance divided by the square of a time. CGS System: It stands for centimeter, gram and seconds. In this system, length is measured in centimeter, weight is measured in gram, and time is measured in seconds. MKS System: MKS stands for meter, kilogram and seconds. Here, length is measured in meter, weight in kilogram and time in seconds.

According to Taplow, Mr. Crocker Harris was a strict disciplinarian. Students were afraid that any misconduct might affect their grades. From Taplow's dialogue we also get to know that Mr. Crocker Harris was a man who strictly adhered to the rules of the school much unlike the other teachers. He never disclosed the results till it was announced by the headmaster. However, Taplow liked Mr.Crocker Harris as he believed that the man was not a sadist. He felt pity for Mr. Crocker Harris and described him as 'shrivelled up inside'.

The system of old British schools as reflected by the story shows that the system was quite formal and conservative in nature. The teachers did not have a very good rapport with the students with the stress being more on keeping a respectable distance between the two rather than a friendly approach. Classical learning was encouraged more than the sciences which were still in its infancy. Teachers like Crocker-Harris commanded immense respect from students even though his teaching methods were set apart from the rest. Students were expected to be at their best at all times and work hard without expectations of being favoured. The student-teacher relationship was one of respect but with young teachers coming into the picture, things would probably change towards a more interactive process.

Mr. Crocker Harris was different because he did not show his love towards his students. Other teachers wanted to remain good in thoughts of their students but Mr crocker did not do it. His behavior was rude towards them but he always thought about welfare of his students. Other teachers did not follow the rules of school but Mr crocker always follow the rules and wanted to make their students honest. In this way he was different.

Taplow mimicked Mr. Harris because while narrating an incident to Mr. Frank, the science teacher, he got emotionally carried away and did Mr. Crocker Harris’s mimicry. Mr. Frank liked this mimicry so much that he asked Taplow to do it once more; Taplow did it again. So, Taplow had to mimic Mr. Crocker Harris.

The Carbonate (CO2−3 C O 3 2 − ) Ion
Unlike O3, though, the actual structure of CO32− is an average of three resonance structures. 2. Carbon has 4 valence electrons, each oxygen has 6 valence electrons, and there are 2 more for the −2 charge. This gives 4 + (3 × 6) + 2 = 24 valence electrons.
