1. How to Draw a Peacock

Step 1

Draw an oval. This will be the torso of our peacock.

<figure></figure>

Step 2

Draw a long, S-shaped neck with an oval head at one end.

<figure></figure>

Step 3

Sketch the legs below the ankles ("reversed knees"). Drawing them this way can help you establish the pose without getting caught up in the details.

<figure></figure>

Step 4

Draw the upper part of the legs. These will be hidden under the feathers, but it helps to know where they are.

<figure></figure>

Step 5

Sketch the curve of the beak. Peacocks are related to chickens, so you can use a chicken beak as a reference.

<figure></figure>

Step 6

Sketch the curve of the wings. Peacocks tend to keep them low when they fan their tail. The wings are covered by the tail mostly, but some parts may stay visible, so we need to know where they are.

<figure></figure> <figure></figure> <figure></figure>

Step 7

Draw all the toes. Again, these are just like chicken feet!

<figure></figure>

Step 8

Outline the neck, starting thin right by the head and then getting wider as you get closer to the torso.

<figure></figure>

Step 9

Finish the beak.

<figure></figure> <figure></figure>

Step 10

Draw an oval eye.

<figure></figure>

Step 11

Add a nose hole.

<figure></figure>

Step 12

Draw the "crown" on the head.

<figure></figure> <figure></figure>

Step 13

Add details to the legs and feet.

<figure></figure> <figure></figure> <figure></figure> <figure></figure>

Step 14

Finish the wings.

When consumer consumes two commodities, then equilibrium is achieved when consumer equates the ratio of marginal utility derived from one commodity in comparison to it's price with the ratio of the marginal utility of another commodity in comparison to it's price which states that consumer is rational in consumption of both the commodities.

The reception of wave after reflection is called 'echo'. When the echo method is used to measure large distances, we send the wave (sound or light) towards the object and the reflected wave is again received. Let 't' be the time after which the echo is observed.

Solution

By applying the uncertainty principle,

{tex}\displaystyle \Delta P = \frac {h}{4 \pi \Delta x} = \frac {6.626 \times 10^{-34} }{4 \times 3.1416 \times 0.002 \times 10^{-9} } = 2.63 \times 10^{-23}\ kg\ m/s{/tex}

The uncertainty in momentum is,
{tex}\displaystyle \frac {h}{4 \pi m \times 0.002 \times 10^{-9} } = \frac {h \times 5 \times 10^{11} }{4 \times \pi \times m}{/tex}

This is much larger than the actual momentum, i.e,

{tex}\displaystyle \frac {h}{4 \pi m} \times 0.05\ nm{/tex}. Hence, it cannot be defined.

Each alveolus is made up of highly-permeable and thin layers of squamous epithelial cells. Similarly, the blood capillaries have layers of squamous epithelial cells. Oxygen-rich air enters the body through the nose and reaches the alveoli. The deoxygenated (carbon dioxide-rich) blood from the body is brought to the heart by the veins. The heart pumps it to the lungs for oxygenation. The exchange of O2 and CO2 takes place between the blood capillaries surrounding the alveoli and the gases present in the alveoli.

Thus, the alveoli are the sites for gaseous exchange. The exchange of gases takes place by simple diffusion because of pressure or concentration differences. The barrier between the alveoli and the capillaries is thin and the diffusion of gases takes place from higher partial pressure to lower partial pressure. The venous blood that reaches the alveoli has lower partial pressure of O2 and higher partial pressure of CO2 as compared to alveolar air. Hence, oxygen diffuses into blood. Simultaneously, carbon dioxide diffuses out of blood and into the alveoli.

Normally each physical quantity requires a unit or standard for its specification, so it appears that there must be as many units as there are physical quantities. However, it is not so. It has been found that if in mechanics we choose arbitrarily units of any three physical quantities we can express the units of all other physical quantities in mechanics in terms of these. So, length, mass and time are chosen as base quantities in mechanics because
(i) Length, mass and time cannot be derived from one another, that is these quantities are independent.
(ii) All other quantities in mechanics can be expressed in terms of length, mass and time.

Sulinder Kumar 5 years, 6 months ago

Because it doesn't depend on other physical quantities

Stoichiometry as the calculation of products and reactants in a chemical reaction. It is basically concerned with numbers.

Stoichiometry is an important concept in chemistry that helps us use balanced chemical equations to calculate amounts of reactants and products. Here, we make use of ratios from the balanced equation. In general, all the reactions that take place are dependent on one main factor, how much substance is present.
