| Process Occurrence | |
| Breathing takes place in the lungs. Also involves the nose, mouth and pharynx | Respiration takes place in cells |
| Type of Process | |

| Production of Energy | |
| There is no production of energy in this process. | Energy is produced and released in the form of ATP. |
| Cellular Activity | |
| As it occurs outside cells, it is called the extracellular process. (Occurs between the organism and the external environment) | As it occurs inside cells, it is called the intracellular process. |

Corruption and Inefficiency: In many democratic countries, the political leaders, officers, tend to be corrupt, dishonest and inefficient. They ask for the bribe. This results in lack of trust of the citizens. This affects the working of democracy in the country very badly.
Role of Anti-Social Elements: The role of anti-social elements arises during the elections. A lot of people are forced or bribed to vote for a particular candidate or party. Rigging also takes place during elections.
Growing Economic and Social Inequalities Among People: There is a lot of socioeconomic inequalities amongst the people. Although all the citizens have the right to vote and fight elections only rich people have a chance to win the election.

Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB= 4.2cm, BC= 6cm, CD=5.2cm, DA=5cm and AC= 8 cm.
The given Quadrilateral ABCD can be drawn by following the steps.
Step1: Draw a line AB= 4.2cm
Step2: With A as the centre and radius = 8cm draw an arc.
Step3: with B as the centre and radius = 6cm draw another arc cutting previous arc. Label this point as C
Step4: Join BC
Step5: With A as the centre and radius = 5cm draw an arc.
Step6: with C as the centre and radius = 5.2cm draw another arc cutting previous arc. label this point as D
Step7: join CD and AD.
∴ The constructed quadrilateral looks like:

If the atomic number is given from the electronic configuration we can find the poasition of the element.
Example:
Carbon (6)
Electronic configuration: (2,4)
No. of valence electrons gives the group number and no of shells gives period.
So it corrosponds to group 4 and period 2.

Recombination Prism is the prism which enables the recombining of the dispersed ray of light (VIBGYOR) into the ray of white light.
The bending of light or the refraction phenomenon is used to disperse a white light into VIBGYOR by first prism and the recombination prism due to its optical arrangement recombines VIBGYOR into the white light which was originally incident n the first prism.

The Cold Weather Season (Winter):
- The winter season begins from mid-November and stays till February; in northern India. December and January are the coldest months in the northern part of India. The temperature ranges between 10°-15°C in the northern plains, while it ranges between 24°-25°C in Chennai.
- The northeast trade winds prevail over the country in this season. As these winds blow from land to sea, most parts of the country experience a dry season.
- The weather is usually marked by clear sky, low temperatures and low humidity and feeble variable winds.
The Hot Weather Season (Summer)
- The summer season is from March to May. During this period, the global heat belt shifts towards north because of the apparent northward movement of the sun.
- During summer, the temperatures rise and air pressure falls in the northern part of the country. Towards the end of May, an elongated low-pressure area develops in the region which extends from the Thar Desert in the northwest to Patna and Chhotanagpur in the east and southeast.
- A characteristic feature of the hot weather season is the ‘loo’. These are strong, gusty, hot and dry winds which blow during the day over the north and northwestern India.
Advancing Monsoon (The Rainy Season)
- The rainy season begins from early June.
- The low-pressure condition over the northern plains intensifies at this time. It attracts the trade winds from the southern hemisphere. These south-east trade winds cross the equator and blow in a south-westerly direction to enter the Indian peninsula as the south-west monsoon. These winds bring abundant moisture to the subcontinent.
- These winds blow at an average velocity of 30 km/h. The monsoon winds cover the country in about a month; barring the extreme north-west.
- The windward side of the Western Ghats receives very heavy rainfall, early in the rainy season. The Deccan Plateau and parts of Madhya Pradesh also receive some rain, in spite of lying in the rain shadow area.

When displacement vectors are added, the result is a resultant displacement. But any two vectors can be added as long as they are the same vector quantity. If two or more velocity vectors are added, then the result is a resultant velocity. If two or more force vectors are added, then the result is a resultant force. If an object moves relative to a reference frame—for example, if a professor moves to the right relative to a whiteboard, or a passenger moves toward the rear of an airplane—then the object's position changes. This change in position is known as displacement.
