Ladakh is an important trade center located 160 miles (260 km) east of Srinagar. The climate of Ladakh is cold and dry. Average annual precipitation is roughly 3 inches (80 mm); fine, dry, flaked snow is frequent and sometimes falls heavily.Due to its high altitude, Ladakh is always freezing cold and dry for most of the year. The air is so thin that you can feel the sun's heat intensely. In summers, the temperature during the day is just above zero degrees and the night temperature is much below -30°C.

A hygroscopic substance is one that readily attracts water from its surroundings, through either absorption or adsorption. Examples include honey, glycerin, ethanol, methanol, concentrated sulfuric acid, and concentrated sodium hydroxide (lye). Hygroscopic means that the hair is porous, this means that if you go out in any sort of humid or damp weather the hair absorbs the moisture from the atmosphere. ... When this happens it is your hair changing from its beta to alpha state.

Proportional representation is a system used to elect a country's government. If no party wins over 50% of the vote, then a coalition government usually has to be formed, where a government is formed from two or more different political parties, who together have over 50% of the seats in parliament. Voting at Presidential, Dáil, Seanad, European and local elections is by secret ballot on the principle of proportional representation (PR) in multi-seat constituencies (Ireland is a single constituency at a Presidential election), each elector having a single transferable vote (STV).

Criminal justice system is the ‘body of law’ or ‘Court’ regulating the inquiry into whether a person has violated criminal law or not.
criminal procedure in the Criminal Justice System in India:
A crime is first reported by the victim to the Police and the police file a FIR or First Information Report. Then the police begin the investigation and arrest the suspected person or persons. The police then file a charge sheet in the Magistrate’s Court. The trial begins in court. The Public Prosecutor represents the victim and the accused can defend themselves with the help of a lawyer. Once the trial is over the accused is either convicted or acquitted. If convicted, the accused can appeal to the higher court.
