Species diversity is the variety in the number and richness of the species of a region, Western Ghats have greater amphibian species diversity as compared to eastern ghats
Western ghats are continuous mountains from south Kerala to Maharashtra. Its average height is also very high at more than 1000m. But eastern ghats is not that much continuous being split by many major rivers. Its average height is also around 600m.
Usually more biodiversity is found in tropical rainforests which receives very heavy annual rainfall. During southwest monsoon western ghats acts as a barrier for the moisture winds from Arabian sea causing very heavy rainfall. Hence western ghats is full of rainforests.
But eastern ghats is parallel to the north east monsoon winds. So rainfall is low compared to western ghats.
Southwest monsoon rainfall acts as source for many major rivers which makes it very fertile forming rainforests. These rainforests in western ghats acts as a home for more flora and fauna. This is the reason for more biodiversity in western ghats

Simple Majority
- This refers to a majority of more than 50% of the members present and voting in the House.
- Also known as Functional or Working majority.
- This is the most commonly used type of majority.
- When the law does not specify the kind of majority needed, a simple majority is used for passing bills or motions.
- Ordinary bills require only a simple majority.
- For example, in the Lok Sabha, out of the total strength of 545, suppose 45 were absent and 100 abstained from voting. This means, only 400 members were present and voting. In this case, the simple majority needed is 201 (50% + 1).

The nervous system or the neural system is a complex network of neurons specialized to carry messages. The complexity of the nervous system increases as we move towards higher animals.
For instance, cnidarians such as jellyfish have relatively simple nerve nets spread throughout their body. Crabs have a more complicated nervous system in the form of 2 nerve centers called dorsal ganglion and ventral ganglion.

You can use a custom view to save specific display settings (such as hidden rows and columns, cell selections, filter settings, and window settings) and print settings (such as page settings, margins, headers and footers, and sheet settings) for a worksheet so that you can quickly apply these settings to that worksheet when needed. You can also include a specific print area in a custom view.

IM is short for Instant Messaging. Instant Messaging enables online real time communication between two users logged in simultaneously. Every time a user presses enter the message gets broken up in packets and is immediately transmitted over the net. These packets are received on the other ended, decoded and displayed on the recipients screen.

THE AGE OF SOCIAL CHANGE
The French Revolution opened up the possibility of creating a dramatic change in the way in which society was structured. Not everyone in Europe, however, wanted a complete transformation. Some were ‘conservatives’, while others were ‘liberals’ or ‘radicals’
Liberals: Wanted a nation which tolerated all religions. They were against the uncontrolled power of the dynastic rulers. They wanted rights for individuals. They argued for an elected parliamentary government, subject to laws interpreted by a well trained judiciary that was independent of rulers and officials. They were not democrats because they did not believe in universal adult franchise..

Neurons are specialized in conveying knowledge throughout the body. The sensory neurons, motor neurons, and interneurons are three types of neurons. Neurons have a membrane built to forward information to other cells.
