The angle subtended by the diameter of a semicircle is 90o

To prove : ∠APB=90o

∵ We know angle subtended by an arc at centre is double the angle subtended at any point or circumference.

⇒ Angle subtended by arc AB at O= Double the angle subtended at P

⇒∠AOB=2∠APB

∵AOB is a straight line.

⇒∠AOB=1800

⇒2∠APB=180o

⇒∠APB=90o

∴ Angle subtended by arc AB or semi circle is 90o

Here A (6,3 ) and B(-2,-5) Now by x axis it is being divided so the point of intersection of AB and x axis let P(x,0) Let the ratio be k:1 Now x = k(-2)+1(6)/k+1 =-2k +6/k+1 Also 0 = k(-5)+1(3)/k+1 -5k +3 = 0 k = 3/5 So the ratio is 3:5 Now point P (x,0) here x = -2(3)+6(5)/3+5 = -6+30/8 = 24/8 =3 So the point P (3,0) and ratio is 3:5.

The future of our planet is in danger. The current types and levels of development are not sustainable as these are over exploiting natural resources and depleting the environment. if the resources continue to be exploited by a few greedy individuals, it would lead to various socio-economic and environmental issues. There is need for sustainable development, that is, current development does not compromise with the needs of the future generations.

The feather floats on water because the density of the feather is less as compared to water. Any light substance whose density is less as compared to water will float in water. Thats why the lighter things do not sink in the water instead it floats on the water.

The human excretory system comprises of the following structures: two bean-shaped kidneys, two ureters, one urinary bladder, and one urethra.

Kidneys are the main organ of the human excretory system. The kidneys are paired organs and are located one on each side of the spine at the level of the liver. They are divided into three regions- the renal cortex which is the outer layer, the renal medulla which is the inner layer and the renal pelvis which is responsible for carrying the urine from the kidney to the ureter. The functional unit of a kidney is called the nephron.

There is one ureter that comes out of each kidney as an extension of the renal pelvis. The ureter is a thin muscular tube that carries urine from the kidneys to the bladder.

The bladder receives urine from the ureters, one from each kidney. It is a sac-like structure that is lined with smooth muscle layer and is responsible for storage of urine till it is expelled from the body by micturition (urination).

The urethra is a tube that arises from the urinary bladder and expels urine by micturition. The urethra is shorter in females and longer in the males. In males, the urethra functions as a common path for sperms and urine. The opening of the urethra is guarded by a sphincter that is voluntary.

The refractive index of diamond is very high. When enter in it and it bend then speed of light is low in so it shine

Gaurav Seth 5 years ago (2898529)

Its due to Total internal reflection (TIR) . When the light rays enter diamond it acts as a prism and disperses the light in its seven constituent colours and after when these colours strike the others surface of diamond TIR takes place and then after emerging the white light again combines into white light and we see the diamonds as if they are sparkling

The BoP statement provides a clear picture of the economic relations between different countries. It is an integral aspect of international financial management. Now that you have understood BoP and its components, let’s look at why it is important.

To begin with, the BoP statement provides information pertaining to the demand and supply of the country’s currency. The trade data shows a clear picture of whether the country’s currency is appreciating or depreciating in comparison with other countries. Next, the country’s BoP determines its potential as a constructive economic partner. In addition, a country’s BoP indicates its position in international economic growth.

By studying its BoP statement and its components closely, a country would be able to identify trends that may be beneficial or harmful to the economy and take appropriate measures.
