The poem amda describes about a small girl named Amanda who is constantly nagged by her parents especially by her mother.She was pointed out for biting her nails and not for sitting in a right posture.The mother also feels that Amanda sits in a lazy manner. To this Amanda imagines herself to be a mermaid who lives in a calm and relaxing life in the beautiful green sea. Futher,she nagged for not cleaning her room,shoes and doing her homework. She then imagines herself to be a orphan because she is now fed up of bring watched by her freedom then by making the patterns of her bare feet on the sand would live a peaceful life. Next, Amanda is scolded for eating chocolate as they cause pimples. She is also scolded for not listening to her mother while talking. So, now Amanda imagines herself to be a Rapunzel,a character from fairy tale and wants to live in a huge tower like Rapunzel. In the tower she will be alone and she will live a peaceful life and will not allow anyone to come in . Finally,the mother asks her to stop being moody because she doesn't want anyone to blame Amanda. The constant nagging has Amanda so sad that she has even stopped to imagine herself as someone else. She used to do so in order to escape from the continuous nagging and dominance of her parents.

This poem depicts the state of a little girl's mind who is constantly instructed about do's and don'ts by her elders. She is told not to hunch her shoulder and to sit up straight. She is told to finish her homework and to tidy her room. She is forbidden from eating a chocolate that she has. But all the time, the little girl Amanda keeps dreaming of a life of freedom in the open. She dreams of mermaids in the sea , of roaming barefoot in the dusty street and of the golden - haired Rapunzel who lived alone in a high tower. She takes no note of what is being said to her. Then she is rebuked for being moody and sulking all the time.

Step wise answer ok Total number of pens purchased by Raju for ₹ 150 = 10 So, the cost of 1 pen will be = 150 / 10 = ₹ 15 Also, the total number of pens purchased by Manish in ₹ 84 = 7 pens So, the cost of 1 pen will be = 84 / 7 = ₹ 12 Thus, we observed that the total number of pens purchased by Manish is cheaper than Raju.
