SECTION – A: GRAMMAR (23 Marks & 40 Periods) 

I. Prosody, Alankaras and Translation:-

  1. Prosody: (2 to be answered out of 4). (2 X 2 ½ = 5)
    Champakamala, Utpalamala, Mattebham, Shardulam, Ataveladi, Tetagiti and Kandamu.
  2. Alankaras: (2 to be answered out of 3) (2 X 5 = 10)
    Upama, Rupaka, Arthantaranyasa, Slesha, Utpreksha and Atisayokti.
  3. Translation: (8)
    Translation of given passage not exceeding 10 sentences in English into Telugu [Abstract passage should be avoided].

SECTION – B:- (10 Marks & 30 Periods)
Unseen Reading Comprehension (10)

SECTION – C:- (10 Marks & 30 Periods)
Composition and Writing (1 to be answered out of 3). (10)
Descriptive and Narrative essays
