Speed of the stream = 2.4 kmph

= (7.2 + 2.4) kmph
= 9.6 kmph

= (9.6 + 2.4) kmph
= 12 kmph

Now, P = 1000, when t = 0
Substituting the values of P and t in (iii), we get C = 1000. Therefore, equation (iii), gives
