Mukesh is a boy with a daring attitude to drive a car. His family is engaged in making bangles. But his dream seems like a mirage. His family believes in ‘Karam theory.’
But Mukesh insists on being his own master. So he announces, I will be a motor mechanic. He repeats “I wants to be a motor mechanic.” He says he will go to a garage and learn. Though the garage is a long distance from his house yet he will walk to the garage.
He does not dream of flying a plane. He is content to dream of cars that he sees hurtling down the streets of his town. This shows that Mukesh has an attitude of doing something different from that of his family.

A commercial bank is a kind of financial institution which carries all the operations related to deposit and withdrawal of money for the general public, providing loans for investment, etc. These banks are profit-making institutions and do business only to make a profit.
The two primary characteristics of a commercial bank are lending and borrowing. The bank receives the deposits and gives money to various projects to earn interest (profit). The rate of interest that a bank offers to the depositors are known as the borrowing rate, while the rate at which banks lends the money is called the lending rate.

- An oxidation-reduction (redox) reaction is a type of chemical reaction that involves a transfer of electrons between two species. An oxidation-reduction reaction is any chemical reaction in which the oxidation number of a molecule, atom, or ion changes by gaining or losing an electron.
- The formation of hydrogen fluoride is an example of a redox reaction. We can break the reaction down to analyze the oxidation and reduction of reactants. The hydrogen is oxidized and loses two electrons, so each hydrogen becomes positive.

The Watson and Crick were the two scientists who proposed the double helical structure of DNA. They proposed that the double helical structure is held together by the hydrogen bonds which are present in between the nitrogenous bases present on the opposite strands of the DNA. The double stranded DNA is supported by the phosphate back bone.
The salient features of double helix structure of DNA are as follows:
- There are two polynucleotide chains in a double stranded DNA.
- The backbone is constituted by sugar phosphate.
- The two strands possess anti-parallel polarity, means one chain has polarity 5’-3’ and the other has 3’-5’.
- The two strands of DNA are joined together by hydrogen bonds between purines and pyrimidines.
- Adenine always pairs with Thymine by two hydrogen bonds and Guanine always pairs with Cytosine by three hydrogen bonds.
- The two chains are coiled around each other where the pitch of the helix is 3.4 nm and distance between two base pairs is 3.4 A° (as in case of B-DNA)
- The backbone of DNA double helix is formed by sugars and phosphates where bases are projecting inwards.
