He was the French teacher of alsace. He was too passionate about his profession. He always tried to put all his knowledge to his student.

Character of M. Hamel

M. Hamel was a true French man. Teaching at Alsace for forty years, he had become a part of its people. He was an honest teacher. He did not blame his students alone for poor learning. He also held himself responsible for the same. He was very patriotic as he appealed to his countrymen to hold fast to their mother tongue to be free from the Prussians. According to him the French language was the most beautiful, the clearest and the most logical language in the world. He appealed to his countrymen to guard it and never forget it. He was emotionally attached to the school and all his students. However, he was very brave and strong. He was really sorry for not making sincere efforts to teach French to his countrymen. At the end, he became so emotional that he could not speak.

Types  of movements

There are various types of movement in body parts which can be divided in four types i.e. gliding & angular movements, circumduction & rotation and few other movements.

Gliding movements: Gliding movements is the simplest kind of movement that can take place in a joint, one surface gliding or moving over another without any angular or rotator movement.

Angular movement: Angular movement occurs between long bones. By angular movement the angle between the two bones increased or decreased. The various movements which fall under angular movements are described below:

a) Flexion: Bending parts at a joint so that the angle between them decreases and parts come closer together (bending the lower limb at the knee).
b) Extensions: Straightening parts so that the angle between them increases and parts moves farther apart (straightening the lower limb at the knee).
c) Abduction means moving a part away from the midline (lifting the upper limb horizontally to form a right angle with the side of the body))
d) Adduction means moving a part towards the midline ( returning the upper limb from the horizontal position to the side of the body).

  1. GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT  Both growth and development refer to changes over a period of time.  Growth :-  Quantitative and value neutral change .  Positive or a negative sign.  Development :-  Qualitative change which is always value positive.  Development occurs when positive growth takes place.  For example, if the population of a city grows from one lakh to two lakhs over a period of time, we say the city has grown.  However, if facilities like housing, provision of basic services and other characteristics remain the same, then this growth has not been accompanied by development.
  2.  The quality of life people enjoy in a country, the opportunities they have and freedoms they enjoy, are important aspects of development.  The concept of human development was introduced by Dr. Mahbub-ul-haq.  Dr. Haq has described human development as development that enlarges people’s choices and improves their lives.

Students with disabilities learn the same curriculum content, with the same lesson objective, in the same space, with the same assessment as all other students. Skew Symmetric Matrices (Square Matrix)

A square matrix A = [aij] is said to be skew symmetric matrix if A′ = – A, that is aji = – aij for all possible values of i and j.

Now, if we put i = j, we have aii = – aii. Therefore 2aii = 0 or aii = 0 for all i’s.

This means that all the diagonal elements of a skew symmetric matrix are zero.

Numerical:

Solution: Notice that aji = – aij for all possible values of i and j. Thus it is a skew symmeticmatrix.

Sulphur sol and gold sol are Lyophobic sols and are unstable and are build to colloidal size from small particles by the Condensation method by Chemical reactions.

Oxidation sulphur sol is prepared by passing H2S into SO2

  2. Reduction of AuCl3 with formaldehyde gives gold sol.

    AuCl3+ HCHO + 3H2O → Au (sol) + 3HCOOH + 6HCl

The Indus civilisation is also known as the Harappan Civilisation, after its type site, Harappa, the first of its sites to be excavated early in the 20th century in what was then the Punjab province of British India and now is Pakistan. The discovery of Harappa and soon afterwards Mohenjo-daro was the culmination of work beginning in 1861 with the founding of the Archaeological Survey of India during the British Raj. There were however earlier and later cultures often called Early Harappan and Late Harappan in the same area; for this reason, the Harappan civilisation is sometimes called the Mature Harappan to distinguish it from these other cultures.
