Variations in the natural as well as cultural phenomena provides a clue in understanding the relationship between physical environment and cultural features.
The physical environment has provided the stage over which the human societies enacted the drama of their creative skills with the tools and techniques which they invented in the process of their development. It can be said that geography is the description of the earth. We know that the reality is always multifaceted and the earth is also multi-dimensional. This is why many disciplines from natural sciences and a number of sister disciplines in social sciences study different aspect of the earth's surface. Geography is different from other subjects but at the same time it is closely related to other disciplines. Geography derives its data base from all the natural and social sciences.
The existing variations over the surface of the earth in physical as well as cultural environment. A number of phenomena are similar and many are dissimilar. It is, therefore, logical to perceive geography as the study of a real differentiation.

A bumper harvest is a boon to farmers more than it is a bane.
However in some circumstances it can be either, depending on the market scenarios and the market opportunities.
Explanation:
A boon
A bumper harvest in most instances is a boon or blessing to the farmers.
When farmers have a bumper harvest, they reap more and earn a lot from sales. This however depend on market availability, availabilty of transport and/or availabilty of storage faciities.
If the farmers' products hit the market in a timely manner, they are more likely to get more returns and it becomes a success story.
A bane
Imagine if all the farmers planting the same crop as you did had a bumper harvest, this would mean that you not are the only person with plenty.
The only way you would be able to a get a good deal from the market is if your products hit the the market first or early enough.
At times, many farmers don't plan well and their bumper harvest end up as loss due to lack of storage and/or transportation facilities.
However, in the long run, most of the time, the bumper harvest end as a blessing to the farmers. Since they are dealing with surplus, the farmers do not really have much to lose.

In the poem, the poet asks the soft-falling shower, ‘Who are you?’ to which she replies that she is the poem of earth. It is a strange thing for the rain to reply to the poet. The rain told the poet that she cannot be touched as she rises in the form of water vapour in the sky from the land and the bottomless sea. It changes its shape yet it remains the same. The vapour changes into clouds due to condensation.
It falls back on the surface of the earth to provide water to the drought-prone areas and to beautify and purify the earth (its birthplace). It provides life to the seeds inside the earth and helps them grow.
The rain doesn’t care if anyone bothers about her deeds or not, she completes her work and comes back home. The poet also compares the rain with a song as they both share a common journey. The song originates from the heart of the singer, travels across to fulfill the aim and comes back with due love for the singer (its originator).

In Algebra, a variable is an alphabet which is used to represent the unknown number. It represents the value. A variable is a quantity that may be changed according to the mathematical problem. The generic letters which are used in many algebraic expressions and equations are x, y, z. In other words, a variable is a symbol for a number where the value is not known.
For example, x + 5 = 10
Here “x” is a variable.
Variables are broadly classified into two categories, namely:
Dependent Variable
The dependent variable is a variable that depends on the value of some other number or variable. In short, the dependent variable is the output of a function. The value of the dependent variable changes, if there is a change in the value of an independent variable. The variable is dependent because its value depends on what we put into the function.
Example: y = 4 + 2x
Here, y is called a dependent variable. The value of y completely depends on the function 4 + 2x
Independent Variable
The independent variable does not depend on any values. It is called the input of a function. The value of the independent variable is not affected by any values of a function.
Example: x = 2y + 3z
Here, x is called a dependent variable
y and z are the independent variables
Because the value of y and z are not affected by any other values.

The author and his grandmother shared a relationship which was very strong. The
author had a lot of respect and admiration for his grandmother and her love for the author was limitless. Earlier, they shared everything including the room. This closeness strengthened their bond. When the author was asked to shift to the city along with his grandmother to stay with his parents, their relationship underwent a change. Their interaction became less as the author grew older. He moved to a foreign university for five years. Even
though now the physical proximity was less, conversation lesser, but the basic foundation of their relationship was extremely strong. The grandmother kept a tenacious hold on to her life till her grandson returned from abroad. Only after seeing him, she breathed her last.

By looking at the biological bases of human behavior, psychologists are better able to understand how the brain and physiological processes might influence the way people think, act, and feel.
