A consumer is in a state of equilibrium when he maximizes his satisfaction by spending his given income on different goods and services. Any deviation or change in the allocation of income under the given circumstance will lead to a fall in total satisfaction.
For one-commodity case: Rupee worth of satisfaction actually received by the consumer is equal to the marginal utility of money as specified by the consumer himself.
Condition 1 : MU(of good X) = MU(of money) OR , PRICE(of good X) = MU(of money)
Reason: Price paid by the consumers should be exactly equal to the money value of MU that he derives. In case P(of X) is lesser than the MU(of money), he should be prompted to buy more of good X. Higher consumption will lead to a fall in MU. The consumption of good X would stop only when P(of good X) will be equal to MU(in terms of money). Likewise, if P(of X) is greater than MU(in terms of money), the consumer will be prompted to buy less of good X, leading to a fall in MU.
Condition 2: Marginal utility of money remains constant.
Condition 3: Law of marginal utility holds good.
For two-commodity case: Rupee worth of marginal utility of money should be same across good X and good Y, and equal to marginal utility of money.
Reason: In case rupee worth of satisfaction (MU of good X/ price of good X) is greater for good X than good Y, the consumer will be prompted to buy more of good X and less of good Y. This would lead to a fall in marginal utility of good X and a rise in marginal utility of good Y. This process would continue till MU(of good X)/ Price of good X = MU(OF GOOD Y)/ Price of good Y = MU(of money) . In case rupee worth of satisfaction (MU of good y/ price of good Y) is greater for good Y than good X, the consumer will be prompted to buy more of good Y and less of good X. This would lead to a fall in marginal utility of good Y and a rise in marginal utility of good X.

Elements of Yoga : Yoga is not a mechanical process but a thoughtful process. The main purpose of yoga is to provide a sound body with tension free and sound mind. The ultimate aim of yoga is" self-identification and self perfection which comes through self realization and self purification. According to Patanjali, Yoga consists of 8 (eight) stages to achieve the union of Atma with Parmatma. Patanjali outlines a complete eight fold path that deals with all elements of Yoga in our life inwardly and outwardly.
The elements of Yoga are :
(i) Yama : These are the basic principles, codes of ethics or restraints such as honesty, non-violence, non-stealing and non-possessiveness. These are universal commandments. These restraints are meant to prevent a person from indulging in undesirable worldly activities.
(ii) Niyam : These are basic principles for self, like a healthy body, hygienic habits, proper diet, sleep, rest, work routine, etc. This is a self moral code of discipline. We call it lifestyle development.
(iii) Asana : These are slow stretching activities performed to improve the whole body fitness. Asanas are the postures which keep the body healthy, balanced and helps it in maintaining harmony with nature.
(iv) Pranayama : This is a systematic and rythmic control of breathing, performed to improve the functioning of the body. It is a breathing exercise which includes breath in, retention and breath out and then relax.

There is no direct election to the post of the Prime Minister. The President appoints the Prime Minister. But the President cannot appoint anyone he likes. He appoints the leader of the majority party or the coalition of parties that commands a majority in the Lok Sabha, as Prime Minister. In case no single party or alliance gets a majority, the President appoints the person most likely to secure a majority support. The Prime Minister does not have a fixed tenure. He continues in power so long as he remains the leader of the majority party or coalition.
Since the Prime Minister is the head of the government, he enjoys wide-ranging powers :
(i) He chairs Cabinet meetings and coordinates the work of different Departments. His decisions are final in case disagreements arise between Departments.
(ii) He exercises general supervision of different ministries. All ministers work under his leadership.
(iii) The Prime Minister distributes and redistributes work to the ministers.
(iv) He also has the power to dismiss ministers. When the Prime Minister quits, the entire ministry quits.
Thus, the Prime Minister is the most powerful person within the Cabinet.

All things are water." Romans took great pride in their extensive water distribution and sewage networks. They built aqueducts that carried clean water hundreds of miles to population centers where it was distributed to the homes and businesses of those who could afford it. When the Romans came they modernised Britain forever. They taught them about hygiene, about clean drinking water, a calendar, laws and legal system. They also introduced new infrastructure such as straight roads, central heating, aqueducts as well as concrete.
