Albert was quite nervous when he met the doctor because he had thought a lot concerning what he would tell the doctor. Albert could not tell lies. Yuri had suggested to him to be quite frank with the doctor. All this made Albert feel very nervous. This shows Albert was quite simple, honest and sincere. He could not be shrewd nor mean to secure some advantage for himself.

The exchanges between Einstein and the teacher show him to be a person with firm convictions; he is frank and straightforward. Even at the cost of punishment he is not willing to compromise on his views. He comes across as one who will chart his own course rather than follow the beaten track.

Mr.Koch, the maths teacher, had a high opinion of Albert. He thought that he couldn't teach Albert any more and Einstein himself would be able to teach his teacher. He certified that Albert was capable of entering a college or an institue for the study of higher mathematics.
On the other hand, the history teacher considered Albert impudent and a disgrace to the school as he always raised questions and never did his work correctly. But Mr.Koch thought that he was a brilliant student and gave him a glowing reference about Albert to help him get into a college to pursure higher mathematics.

Yuri knew his friend Albert quite well. He also knew that Albert was a simple and straightforward boy. He wanted to have a false certificate from a doctor. But he didn’t know how to tell a lie. This is exactly what happened when Albert went to get that certificate. He felt so nervous that he was really going to have a nervous breakdown. It was really a compliment that Yuri gave to her friend.

The image of the engine is evoked by the poet because it serves as a source of energy for the purpose of runnig machine.

Similarly the bird serves as a source of energy for its family. The way a machine cannot work without an engine, similarly the family won't be able to survive without the bird.

No. Two atoms of the same chemical element are typically not identical. First of all, there is a range of possible states that the electrons of an atom can occupy. Two atoms of the same element can be different if their electrons are in different states. If one copper atom has an electron in an excited state and another copper atom has all of its electrons in the ground state, then the two atoms are different.

Mechanics of note making

While making notes we follow certain standard practices. These may be listed as follows:
(a) Heading and Sub-headings
(b) Abbreviation and Symbols
(c) Note-form
(d) Numbering and Indentation

Heading and sub-headings
The heading reflects the main theme whereas the sub-headings point out how it has been developed. The selection of proper heading and sub-heading reveals the grasp of the passage by the students. In the absence of proper assimilation of main ideas and subsidiary points it is impossible to make notes.

Abbreviations and symbols
They are used for precision and economy of words and hence quite helpful in note-making. At least four recognisable abbreviations are to be used in note-making in your board examination.
These are essential components of note-making. Students often make use of abbreviations and symbols in doing their written work.

Explained under gravitation chapter

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 6 months ago

When the satellite is revolving around the earth, it is because of the gravitational force towards the earth that acts as a centripetal force. Since the initial speed is less than the escape speed, earth’s gravity pulls the satellite towards the centre of the earth. So the satellite is always accelerating around the earth.
