The world was intrigued by the young pharaoh,the world's most famous mummy that is King Tut was an enigma for people. Little had been understood about how the young ruler died more than 3,300 years ago and his death continued to be a lingering medical mystery that pushed people to try and solve it. Tourists would descend on the tomb to pay their respects to the dead king, captivated by legends of his immense wealth and gilded face mask on the outer coffin lid, a face that seemed to launch their imaginations. Some would read from the guidebooks in a reverential whisper while others would just stand silently pondering upon the untimely death of the pharaoh in his late teens or thinking about the pharaoh's curse. Trying to conjecture about the death and misfortune which befell those who disturbed him and if it was really true. His death was enshrouded in mystery and they wanted to look beyond the veil to arrive at the truth about it. F

energy = number of photons * energy in one photon
= n h v
= 6.023 × 10²³ × 6.626 × 10⁻³⁴ × 5 × 10¹⁴ Joules
= 199.54 kJoules

Calcualte the energy of one mole of photons of radiation whose frequency is 5 x 1014Hz.
<hr />A n s w e r ;
Energy (E) of one photon = hv
Here, h = 6.626 x 10-34 Js
v = 5 x 1014 s-1

Any valuable thing which has monetary value and owned by a business, is its asset. In other words, assets are the monetary values of the properties or the legal rights that are owned by the business organisations.
Fixed Assets− These are those assets that are hold for the long term and increase the profit earning capacity and productive capacity of the business. These assets are not meant for sale, for example, land, building machinery, etc.
Current Assets− Assets that can be easily converted into cash or cash equivalents are termed as current assets. These are required to run day to day business activities; for example, cash, debtors, stock, etc.

Linear Magnification = Height of the image / Height of the object = -v/u
Areal Magnification = v2 / u2
Other imp formulas:
Snells law sin i / sin r = constant = Refractive index between two given medium
Refractive index of a medium, μ = c/v where c is the speed of light in vacuum and v is the speed in light in the medium
Lens Formula 1/f = 1/v – 1/u where, f = focal length of the lens, u = distance of object, v = distance of image.
Lens Maker’s formula 1/f=(μ – 1) (1/R1 – 1/R2) where, μ = refractive index of the material of the lens and R1 and R2 are radii of curvature of the lens
Two lenses are in contact with each other, then P = P1 + P2 where P, P1, P2 are the power of combination, power of lens 1 and power of lens 2 respectively.
Two lenses are separated by a distance d, then P = P1 + P2 –d P1 P2

Let us begin by trying to understand the title of this subject — ‘Human Ecology and Family Sciences’ (HEFS). The dictionary explains the term ‘ecology’ in two ways. Firstly, it is referred to as a branch of Biology that deals with relations between living organisms and their environment. Secondly, it is stated to be a complex of relationships between an organism and its environment. Borrowing from biology, in our context, the ‘living organism’ is the human being, and hence the term ‘Human’ precedes ‘Ecology’.

1. Related with the daily life of the people: The local self-bodies are directly related with the daily life of the people. There is no area of the citizen's life which is not connected with these institutions. These institutions perform the functions related to education, sanitation, public health, industry, etc., and try to tackle the day-to-day problems of the local people.
2. Right solution of the local problems: In a big country like India, there live the people belonging to different religions, languages, caste and customs. There are different types of problems in the different parts of the country. The Union Government or the State Governments are unable to know the local problems of the citizens. Only the local people know the local problems and they can suggest the right solution to the local problems. In this way the local self-bodies play an important role.
3. These bodies lessen the workload of Central and State Governments: In the big countries like India where the population is in millions and the area is very vast, the Central Government and the State Governments have many other important works and problems to solve. Therefore, they may not have much spare time to attend to the local problems. A need arises for local bodies well versed with the nature of the local problems who can solve these problems and lessen the burden of Central and State governments.
