Those physical quantities which require magnitude as well as direction for their complete representation and follows vector laws are called vectors.
Vector can be divided into two types
1. Polar Vectors
These are those vectors which have a starting point or a point of application as a displacement, force etc.
2. Axial Vectors
These are those vectors which represent rotational effect and act along the axis of rotation in accordance with right hand screw rule as angular velocity, torque, angular momentum etc.

The scene is set in a school where Taplow arrives to do extra work on the last day for Mr. Crocker-Harris as he missed a day before. He finds Frank, a science teacher in the school. Frank asked him his name and the reason he is there that day. Taplow studies in the lower fifth standard and is about to get his result from his teacher Mr. Harris. Mr. Crocker-Harris usually reveals the result on the last day of school and unlike every other teacher, he follows the rules and regulations strictly.
They both started having a conversation where Frank asked him several questions. We don’t see Mr. Crocker-Harris in the whole chapter but we get to know a lot about him.
Taplow wants to take science as a remove because he finds the subject extremely interesting. Frank, on the other hand, doesn’t like what he teaches in the school. Mr. Croker-Harris is ‘hardly human’ as he never shrivels up. He told Taplow that he will get what he deserves. Nothing less and nothing more and this makes him tensed. Taplow further imitates Mr. Harris twice in front of Frank.
Franks admits that he envies Mr. Crocker-Harris because of the effect he has on them. Taplow told him that he never shows his emotions like other teachers and never beats them up like other masters.
He is not a sadist.
As they were deeply engaged in a conversation, Millie enters and comes with a shopping bag. She asked Taplow to go out and come back in a quarter of an hour as Mr. Crocker-Harris will be late. If her husband arrives earlier, she will take the blame. She further gives him a prescription and instructs him to purchase medicines for her from the chemist. Taplow follows and goes away to do the job.

In a chemical reaction, the species which loses electrons is said to be oxidised and the species which gains electrons is said to be reduced. Since there is no net loss or gain of electrons in a chemical reaction, it means that a substance can gain electron only if another substance that can lose electron is also present in the system. Similarly, a substance can lose electrons only if another substance which can gain electrons is also present in the system. This means oxidation can take place only if reduction also takes place simultaneously and vice versa. In other words, oxidation-reduction reactions are electron transfer processes and always occur side by side. Such reactions in which oxidation and reduction take place simultaneously are called oxidation-reduction or simply redox reactions. For example, consider the following reaction:

This reaction consists of two distinct simultaneous processes which take place in such a way that
No. of electrons lost = No. of electrons gained
(i) Oxidation half-reaction:

Here each atom of zinc loses two electrons and thus gets oxidised to Zn2+ ions.
(ii) Reduction half-reaction:

Thus, a redox reaction may also be defined as a reaction in which electrons are transferred from one reactant to the other.

And for the establishment of social and economic democracy and for the welfare of its citizens, some directives have been given to the central and the state governments.

(1) The Indian Constitution was made by a Constituent Assembly which had been elected for undivided India.
(2) It held its first sitting on 9 December, 1946 and reassembled on 14 August 1947. Its members were elected by in direct election by the members of the Provisional Legislative Assemblies that had been established in 1935.
(3) It was composed roughly along the lines suggested by the Cabinet Mission. After the partition those members who were elected from territories which fell under Pakistan ceased to be the members of the Constituent Assembly. The numbers in the Assembly were reduced to 299 of which 284 were actually present on 26 November1949 and appended their signature to the Constitution as finally passed.
(4) Although the members of the Assembly were not elected by universal suffrage, there was a serious attempt to make the Assembly are presentative body. 26 members were from scheduled classes. Members of all religions were given representation.

Good morning to the Principal mam, sir, madam and my dear friends. I … studying in class … standard, would like to speech on cleanliness. I am very grateful to my class teacher that she has given me such a great opportunity to recite a speech on cleanliness at this event. My dear friends, we all are good people, no one is bad. Then why we are making our future bad and diseased by spreading dirty things and wastes everywhere. Our country is our home; we should not make it dirty. We get respect as an Indian in the abroad so our country is our identity on this planet. It is our responsibility to keep it clean and bright so that it can earn more respect worldwide.
We keep our homes clean then why not our schools, colleges, roads, offices, tourist places, stations, etc all through the country. We only remember that we have to clean a place where we live, means a home only. But why we do not remember that our country is our main home. Our home is our identity within the country however our country is our identity outside the country means in abroad. We are responsible citizens of it then we have to make it clean and no one else. In order to get respect from others, first we have to respect our property and keep it clean.
We keep our homes and religious places clean and do not wear shoes or slippers inside, so that they can be clean. But, on the other hand, we follow wrong practices and spit out on the roads, corners of office buildings, etc. We throw wastes on the roads or corners of the colony; what is this? I am asking what this is. I am not saying that I am only good or I never involved in such activities. I am just saying that how long we will be unconscious and involved in such type of unconscious activities. When the day will come, we will be much conscious every moment so that such bad activities cannot be happened. If we are not trying to keep our country clean then how we will protect tourists from other countries from making it dirty.
I think, none of the day is better than today. Today is the day when we should promise ourselves and our mother country that we will keep it clean forever and never make it dirty in future. Just think that, how bright our homes and whole country look at Diwali, what will happen if it look daily. If the cleanliness only at Diwali can give us confidence, power and positive energy for the whole year, then again think that, can we not get power, confidence, positive energy, a healthy life, a healthy environment, and positive attitude of other countries worldwide forever.
Thank You.

Settlements had begun to develop in southern Mesopotamia from 5000 BCE. The earliest cities developed from these settlements. Some of the cities developed around temples, some developed as centres of trade, and some developed as imperial cities.
Temple Towns: The earliest known temple was a small shrine made of unbaked bricks. In due course of time, temples became larger. They had several rooms around open courtyards. Temples always had their outer walls going in and out at regular intervals. This feature was absent in ordinary houses.

Professor Mehta has considered the need of human beings as infinite in his principle of wantlessness, in which the second requirement is immediately born when one requirement is met. This is the situation of unconscious needs. A person who has never heard of something nor has ever seen it, will certainly not need the consciousness to see it nor he will feel pain in his heart if he does not obtain it.
According to Mehta, the given wantlessness principle does not apply to this unconscious need. Man’s needs grow with his income. The needs of a wealthy person will be higher than the requirement of a poor person. That means, the poor person is looking for adequate means to fulfill one of his needs, and after its fulfillment, he gets the feeling of pleasure in the same. Mehta’s wantlessness principle does not apply in every area altogether. It applies only to the person’s essential needs.

In chemistry, resonance is a way of describing bonding in certain molecules or ions by the combination of several contributing structures into a resonance hybrid in valence bond theory. Resonance structures: Is defined as difference between actual bond energy and energy of most stable resonating structures. Resonance averages the bond characteristics of a molecule as a whole. Resonance stabilizes the molecule because energy of the resonance hybrid is less than the energy of any canonical forms.
