Format for Speech Writing - In order to write a perfect speech, we must be well acquainted with the topic and must possess a wide range of vocabulary, a thorough knowledge of the subject, some research, and excellent organizational skills. Here are the ideal format and tips to help you write your perfect speech.
A perfect speech must consist of:-
- HEADING- The heading should be catchy and in not more than 5-6 words. You can go as creative as you want with this one just make sure you do not devote too much time to it in the exam.
- OPENING LINE- This includes salutations, introduction, and the topic. Make sure you do not mention your personal details (name, school name, etc.).
Example- Respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends! Today, I (the name is given in the question) stand before you all to speak on the topic “(given in the question)”.
OR you could start with a quote related to the topic and then go with the salutations and introduction.
- BODY- It is the main part of your writing piece.
- It is always prescribed that you begin with a short introduction on the topic, it’s meant to be precise.
- Then you need to explain the current situation, the problems (if any), and whether after any corrective actions, betterment in the situation has been observed or not.
- It may include advantages/ disadvantages depending upon the topic in question.
- Now here, it is important you follow a sequence. It is possible that you have too many points or very few points. When you have a lot of varied points, it is better you choose a few best ones and write a line on each. In case you have very few already, explain them in at least two lines each.
- You have to strictly follow the prescribed word limit in a limited time frame so just do not go on writing and writing.
- MOST IMPORTANT- Always begin with your strongest point. You can accommodate the weaker ones in between and end with another strong point.
- Feel free to give your personal opinion in one or two lines.
- It is very important that you do not deviate from the topic. There are chances you may get ideas linking from one to another that may deviate you from the main point. You have to refrain from doing so.
- SOLUTION/CONCLUDING PARAGRAPH- Now, it is to be remembered that wherever you elaborate a problem, you always have to mention the steps being taken to improvise the situation and suggest a few solutions as well.
Now, it would be great if you could add a few quotes relating to motivating the people to take action.
Here also, the rule of STRONG-WEAK-STRONG applies.

Plants are the major source of vitamins. Drugs are first tested on animals before being used for treating man. Animals provide scientific hints for the production and use of medicines. Animals are widely used for scientific research and results thus obtained are finally applied to man. The study of animal play an important role in health, nutrition and control of pests. Many diseases like malaria are caused and transmitted by animals.
(8) Solving approach of biology : Knowledge for eradication of diseases like malaria, small pox, etc. have been achieved by scientists basically due to desire and determination to solve the problem.

We plant trees in plantations for various reasons, including maintaining water sources, upgrading soil quality, improving climate, supplying construction timber and wood energy, providing shelter for livestock, and furthermore, for social advantages, cultural and traditional conservation and for beautifying the landscape.Tree planting along the boundary of large fields and the homestead is useful for strong live fences, windbreaks, wood energy and other complementary products such as fodder.Planting trees along the road provides various advantages such as shade, beautification of the landscape, a good and clean climate, prevention of soil erosion, drainage, prevention of dust from flying onto people houses, and providing wood for various use.Planting trees in public places, such as hospitals, schools, pagodas and public gardens provides particular advantages such as shade and beauty, which is very beneficial to all people.Forest cover can help prevent erosion, and the roots of trees growing along waterways are useful for holding and preventing the banks from collapsing. Waterways with no trees or plants growing on their banks suffer from high levels of soil erosion, which in the long run will widely deplete the cultivable and residential land. Therefore, there should be urgent measures for tree planting to protect the area from soil erosionThis increases the amount of fodder for raising animals. Fodder trees are fast growing on all types of land, they tolerate arid soil, are easy to plant, and highly productive. More significantly, planted fodder trees can be advantageous for fencing and beautifying the homestead. Strong winds, storms and floods more often devastate open areas than forests. Storms or floods do not only destroy infrastructure and houses but they also destroy agricultural products. The most successful approach for prevention is to plant trees as barriers.
