Answer - PX2 Element 'P' with atomic number 56 will lose two electrons to form P^ 2+ ion with 54 electrons corresponding to the stable noble gas electronic configuration. Halogen gains one electron to formX^-1 ion. One P^2+ ion combines with two X^-1 ions to formPX2 . Note: In a neutral molecule, the total charge on cations is numerically equal to the total charge on anions.

The oxidation state, sometimes referred to as oxidation number, describes the degree of oxidation (loss of electrons) of an atom in a chemical compound. Oxidation states are typically represented by integers which may be positive, zero, or negative. In some cases, the average oxidation state of an element is a fraction, such as 8/3 for iron in magnetic (Fe3O4 ).

It is named after the Austrian physicist Christian Doppler, who described the phenomenon in 1842. A common example of Doppler shift is the change of pitch heard when a vehicle sounding a horn approaches and recedes from an observer. Compared to the emitted frequency, the received frequency is higher during the approach, identical at the instant of passing by, and lower during the recession.

Ayushi Ayushi 7 years ago

The Doppler effect is the change in frequency or wavelength of a wave in relation to an observer who is moving relative to the wave source.

The excretory system consists of the organs that remove metabolic wastes from the body. In humans, this includes the removal of liquid nitrogenous waste in the form of urine, and solid wastes especially from the breakdown of hemoglobin. The removal of urine is accomplished by the urinary tract, while solid wastes are expelled through egestion from the large intestine.
