In one dimensional motion the initial instant of time or zero time (t = 0) is considered at the beginning of the observation of motion. It may not be the instant of beginning of motion. Suppose a ball is thrown from a height of 500 m. It becomes visible say at a height of 100 m. Then origin or initial instant of time or zero time (t = 0) is this instant only and not the instant when motion actually began.
Thus, if zero instant is considered as present then times before the instant is past and time after this instant is future

The substance that undergo oxidation itself and reduce other is called reducing agent whereas the substance that undergo reduction itself and oxidize other is called oxidizing agent.
For example:- CuO + H2 --> Cu + H2O
Copper Oxide Hydrogen Copper Water
In reaction, Cu is undergoing reduction and oxidizing hydrogen. Therefore, Cu is oxidizing agent and H is reducing agent.

Frank envied Mr. Crocker Harris because Mr. Crocker Harris was a strict teacher who could control his students.His students were so scared of him that they could not even think of leaving when he was late.Frank was a young and flamboyant and new to his job, however Crocker Harris was old and experienced even though he was not a very good teacher. He was so adherent to the rules and regulations that he never disclosed his student's marks before allowed.Frank wanted his students to be as obedient and afraid of him as they were of Mr. Crocker Harris.

The reducing sugars contain groups which can be easily oxidised by Fehling solution / Tollen's reagent .
All monosaccharides contain free -CHO or -C=0 group and are reducing sugars .
For example : - D - glucose or D- fructose
