Permutit is a complex inorganic salt. It is a manmade zeolite. Chemical formula of zeolite is Na2Al2O3 .nSiO2.xHO . It is also known as Sodium aluminium silicate. Zeolite is made up of microporous minerals which have the capacity of exchanging ions. Hence Zeolite is used to remove the hardness of the water. Process of removing the hardness of water by using Permutit is called a Permutit or zeolite process.

Indian post and telegraph department provides various postal services across India. For providing these services the whole country has been divided into 22 postal circles. These circles manage the functioning of the various head post offices, sub-post offices and branch post offices. There are 154149 post offices and 564701 letter boxes processing 1575 crore mails every year. The various facilities provided by postal department are broadly categorized into

(i) Financial Facilities Post Office Savings Bank is the largest retail bank having 150000 plus branches. Financial facilities are provided through the post office’s savings schemes like Public Provident Fund (PPF), Kisan Vikas Patra, and National Saving Certificates apart from retail banking functions of monthly income schemes, recurring deposits, savings account, time deposits and money order facility.
(ii) Mail Facilities Mail services consist of parcel facilities that is transmission of articles from one place to another; registration facility to provide security of the transmitted articles and insurance facility to provide insurance cover for all risks in the course of transmission by post.

The differences are as listed below.

1.) Females are wider around whereas males are thinner.

2.) Females grow to 20 - 40 cm long whereas males grow to 15 - 30 cm long.

3.) Females are straight at the posterior end whereas males are hooked.

4.) Males have pineal, spices or spine like extensions nears it's posterior opening whereas females lack these structures.

5.) Females have a large reproductive opening on the posterior third of its body whereas males lack such opening.

6.) A female has two reproductive organ tubes joining to form a Y whereas males have one straight tube.

Many invertebrates and a significantly smaller number of vertebrates are hermaphrodites. A hermaphrodite possesses both male and female reproductive organs during their life span. Some of these animals self-fertilize, while others require a partner. It is a condition which enables a form of sexual reproduction in which both partners can act as the "female" or "male".
