The Dark Wolf 5 years, 4 months ago (9697215)

the three effects of he world war on India were (note that India was a british colony then) 1) The British made forced reccruitment into the army from villages. this lead to lack of people to work in the fields which along with droughts lead to a famine resulting the death of many people. Around the same time there was also the influenza pandemic which the made the situation worse. 2) From the first point we come to the second point which was an aftermath of the same thing, SHORTAGE OF FOOD. 3) Then there was a benifit for India too. The industrial class of India strengthened as the British Industries were already in a havoc at the time and there was a need for more goods. 4) But the most important point is that this played a role in bringing togheter all the indians against the british. Gandhiji united the muslims and hindus with the khilafat movement though only for a short time. And it also made the people from villages realize that the British were cruel. Hope this helps:)

ANSWER (a) Let say a stone is thrown in vertical direction with initial speed u. As the time passes its velocity decreases and at the maximum height it attained, its velocity is zero but it has an acceleration (9.8)m/s 2 in the downward direction due to gravity. (b) When a pebble is tied with an end of string and it is whirled in horizontal circular motion with the other end of the string at the centre of circular path, then it has a constant magnitude of centripetal acceleration towards the centre. Hence the acceleration is in perpendicular direction to the motion of pebble.

Area of economy in which different people work on different activeties

Meghna Thapar 5 years, 4 months ago (6237)

A sector is an area of the economy in which businesses share the same or a related product or service. It can also be thought of as an industry or market that shares common operating characteristics. Dividing an economy into different sectors allows for more in-depth analysis of the economy as a whole. Industry refers to a much more specific group of companies or businesses, while the term sector describes a large segment of the economy. The terms industry and sector are often used interchangeably to describe a group of companies that operate in the same segment of the economy or share a similar business type.

Recombination can occur between any two genes on a chromosome, the amount of crossing over is a function of how close the genes are to each other on the chromosome. If two genes are far apart, for example at opposite ends of the chromosome, crossover and non-crossover events will occur in equal frequency.  Crossing-over occurs when two homologous chromosomes exchange genetic material during meiosis I. The closer together two genes are on a chromosome, the less likely their alleles will be separated by crossing-over.

Flightless birds are birds that through evolution lost the ability to fly. There are over 60 extant species, including the well known ratites (ostriches, emu, cassowaries, rheas and kiwi) and penguins. Ostriches, emus, cassowaries, rheas, and kiwis can't fly. Unlike most birds, their flat breastbones lack the keel that anchors the strong pectoral muscles required for flight. Their puny wings can't possibly lift their heavy bodies off the ground.
