Rayon can be used as substitute of silk

The man-made fibre which is regarded as artificial silk is rayon.Rayon is synthesized from wood pulp. Rayon resembles silk, so it is also known as artificial silk. Rayon can be dyed in different colours and is much cheaper than silk.

Types of Disability
There are three types of disabilities which are as follows

[i] Cognitive Disability
The nature of this disability is mental since cognitive domain is related to using mental abilities and achieving results from it.
It is related to impairments in intellectual functioning and adaptive behaviour. Intellectual functioning means person’s ability to plan, comprehend and reason while adaptive behaviour refers to applying social and practical skills in everyday life. Children suffering from dyslexia, learning difficulties, speech disorders, problem in solving math calculations, short span of attention and short of memory are said to have cognitive disability.
Causes of cognitive disability are as follows

  • Cognitive impairment may be present at birth and may be genetic or chromosomal or result from complications of pregnancy.
  • Chromosomal abnormalities such as Down syndrome, fragile X syndrome.
  • Genetic abnormalities such as phenylketonuria, Hunter syndrome etc.
  • Prenatal drug and infections and exposure to alcohol.
  • Lack of oxygen during labour pain or birth.

[ii] Intellectual Disability
The nature of this disability is also mental since the intellectual domain is related to using the capacity of the mind. It is a disability characterised by significant limitations in both intellectual functioning and in adaptive behaviour. This is characterised by low intelligence quotient score (under 70) and significant problems in the ways learners adapt to new situations. It is different from cognitive because cognitive is a broad concept while intellectual disability is specific in nature.
Causes of intellectual disability are as follows

  1. Genetic Conditions These include things like Down syndrome and fragile X syndrome.
  2. Problems during Pregnancy This can interfere with fetal brain development.
  3. Alcohol or Drug Use may also cause intellectual disability.
  4. Problems during Childbirth Like if a baby is deprived of oxygen during childbirth or born extremely premature.
  5. Illness or Injury Infection like meningitis, whooping cough or measles can lead to intellectual disability. Extreme malnutrition, infections in the brain, exposure to toxic substances such as lead, and severe neglect or abuse can also cause it.

[iii] Physical Disability
The nature of this disability is physical since it relates to physical functioning of the body parts including sense organs.
This refers to the limitation on a person’s physical functioning, mobility, dexterity or stamina. This includes upper or lower limb loss, poor manual dexterity, visual impairment, hearing loss or disability in coordination with different organs of the body. Apart from these, respiratory disorders, epilepsy and sleep disorders are also considered physical disability.
Causes of physical disability are as follows

  • Illnesses like cancer, heart attack or diabetes cause the majority of long-term disabilities.
  • Back pain, injuries and arthritis are also significant causes.
  • Lifestyle choices and personal behaviour that lead to obesity are also becoming major contributing factors.
  • Musculoskeletal disorders also cause disabilities. Examples include spine/joint disorders, fibromytis etc.
  • Genetic causes like gene inheritance can cause this disability.

'And the sea, which appears to have changed less,

Washed their terribly transient feet'

Transient means something which is temporary or short-lived. Here, when the author says terribly transient feet, she refers to the ever changing imprints of the feet left on the sea sand. The sea never appears to change but the human life is transient. It's never constant, it will see both ups and downs.

To construct 135 degree angle we first construct 90 degree angle and its steps of constructions are as follows:  1). Use ruler and draw a Line segment OB of any convenient length. (as shown below)   2). Now use compass and open it to any convenient radius. And with O as center , draw an arc which cuts line segment OB at X . (as shown below)   3). Again use compass and opened to the same radius (as of step 2). And with X as center , draw an arc which cuts first arc at D . (as shown below)   4). Again use compass and opened to the same radius (as of step 2). And with D as center , draw another arc which cuts first arc at C . (as shown below)   5). Again use compass and opened to the same radius (as of step 2). And With C & D as center, draw two arc which cuts each other atE . (as shown below)   6). Join OE and extent it to A. (as shown below)   7). Above formed angle AOB = 90 Degree .  8) . Extend BO to Z . (as shown below)   9). Since ZB is a straight line, so formed Angle AOZ = 90 Degree (angle sum property)   Now, to construct at 135 degree angle, we will construct the angle bisector of above angle AOB. And its done in the following steps:  10). Again use compass and open it to any convenient radius. And with O as center , draw an arc which cuts line segment OB at P and OA at Q . (as shown below)   11). Again use compass and opened to same radius (as of step 10).And with P & Q as center and, draw two arcs which cuts each other at point F. (as shown below)   12). Join OF and extend to E . (as shown below)   13). EO is the bisector of Angle AOB.  Therefore, Angle AOE = Angle EOB = ½ of Angle AOB = 45 Degree each (as shown below)   14). Now observe that:  Angle ZOA = 90°  Angle AOE = 45°  Add both the angles and we get  Angle ZOA + Angle AOE = 90° + 45° ..... (Statement 1)  Now observe the above diagram:  Angle ZOA + Angle AOE = Angle ZOE ..... (Statement 2)  From Statement 1 and 2, we get:  Angle ZOE = 135° (as highlighted with pink color)

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago (2898529)

The steps of constructions are:

(a) Draw a line PQ and take a point O on it.

(b) Taking O as the centre and convenient radius, mark an arc, which intersects PQ at A and B.

(c) Taking A and B as centres and radius more than half of AB, draw two arcs intersecting each other at R.

(d) Join OR. Thus, ∠QOR = ∠POQ = 90 .

(e) Draw OD the bisector of ∠POR. Thus, ∠QOD is the required angle of 135.

(f) Now, draw OE as the bisector of ∠QOD=1/2 of 135=67.5

AD and BC are equal perpendiculars to a line segment AB (see figure). Show that CD bisects AB.

<hr />

Given: AD and BC are equal perpendiculars to a line segment AB.
To Prove: CD bisects AB.
Proof: In ∆O AD and ∆OBC
AD = BC    | Given
∠OAD = ∠OBC    | Each = 90°
∠AOD = ∠BOC
| Vertically Opposite Angles
∴ ∠OAD ≅ ∆OBC    | AAS Rule
∴ OA = OB    | C.P.C.T.
∴ CD bisects AB.

Find factorial using Python function – using for loop

#Pyton program to find factorial of a number

def factorial(num):#function definition

fact=1

for i in range(1, num+1):#for loop for finding factorial

fact=fact*i

return fact #return factorial

number=int(input("Please enter any number to find factorial: "))

result=factorial(number)#function call and assign the value to variable result

print("The factorial of %d = %d"%(number,result))

When the above code is executed, it produces the following results

Please enter any number to find factorial: 6

The factorial of 6 = 720

Find factorial using Python function – using while loop

def factorial(num):#function definition

fact=1;

i=1

while i<=num:

fact=fact*i

i=i+1

return fact

num=input("Enter a number..");

result=factorial(num)

print("factorial of the number: %d" %result)

factorial(num)#function call

When the above code is executed, it produces the following results

Enter a number..5

factorial of the number: 120

Programming approaches for implementing these program

  • Take a number as input  from the user and stored in variable number for finding factorial
  • Declare a python function to find factorial
  • Inside the function, declare the variable fact and initialise as 1
  •  Inside the function, find the factorial of a given number using for loop in Python
  • Run the loop from given number until 1 and multiply numbers
  • Call the factorial() function and assign the output to variable result
  • the factorial of the given number is displayed using the print() function in Python
