Alignment is how text flows in relation to the rest of the page (or column, table cell, text box, etc.). There are four main alignments: left, right, center, and justified.
- Left-aligned text is text that is aligned with a left edge.
- Right-aligned text is text that is aligned with a right edge.
- Centered text is text that is centered between two edges.
- Justified text: Justification controls the spacing between words. A justified text increases the space between words to fill the entire line so that it is aligned with both the left and right edges.

Electron gain enthalpy of an element is the energy released when a neutral isolated gaseous atom accepts an extra electron to form the gaseous negative Ion i.e. anion. We can denote it by Δ egH. Greater the amount of energy released in the above process, higher is the electron gain enthalpy of the element.
- Energy is released when an electron is added to the atom. Therefore, the electron gain enthalpy is negative.
- The electron gain enthalpy for halogens is highly negative because they can acquire the nearest stable noble gas configuration by accepting an extra electron.
- Noble gases have large positive electron gain enthalpy. This is because the extra electron is placed in the next higher principal quantum energy levels. Thus, a highly unstable electronic configuration is produced.

The ocean is one of Earth's most valuable natural resources. It provides food in the form of fish and shellfish—about 200 billion pounds are caught each year. It's used for transportation—both travel and shipping. It provides a treasured source of recreation for humans. Ocean waters serve as a source of food and valuable minerals, as a vast highway for commerce, and provide a place for both recreation and waste disposal. Increasingly, people are turning to the oceans for their food supply either by direct consumption or indirectly by harvesting fish that is then processed for livestock feed. It has been estimated that as much as 10% of human protein intake comes from the oceans. Nevertheless, the food-producing potential of the oceans is only partly realized. Ocean water is processed to extract commercially valuable minerals such as salt, bromine, and magnesium. Although nearly 60 valuable chemical elements have been found dissolved in ocean water, most are in such dilute concentrations that commercial extraction is not profitable. The oceans also are important for recreational use, as each year more people are attracted to the sports of swimming, fishing, scuba diving, boating, and waterskiing.
