her parents called her a cow and treated her as one. she was always left out, pushed aside and the old dresses of her sister were passed on to her. No one cared to mend or wash her clothes. New clothes had never been made for Bholi. No one oiled her hairs or tried to teach her anything. Luckily she was sent to school and her teacher changed her life entirely.

Micronutrients are nutrients that are required by the body in lesser amounts for its growth and development. They play a major role in the metabolic activities of the body. These include vitamins and minerals. Since our body cannot produce vitamins and minerals, they are taken externally from different food products.

Bholi had agreed to marry Bishamber who was old enough to be her father and had grown up children from his first wife, for the sake of her parents and their honor. But when Bishamber greedily demanded five thousand rupees as a condition to marry a girl with pock-marks on her face, Bholi not only took great offence but also expressed it strongly.

Slow combustion is a form of combustion which consumes time and takes place slowly. Cellular respiration is an example of slow combustion. In respiration, glucose is oxidised and carbon dioxide and energy are released in the process. This is a very similar reaction to combustion. When a hydrocarbon burns, such a natural gas or methane (CH4), it combines with oxygen, producing CO2 and water and large amount of energy.
However, the energy released in combustion and respiration are very different.

Bholi’s real name was Sulekha but she was called Bholi, the simpleton as she was a backward child. She was the fourth daughter of Numberdar Ramlal who had seven children. Bholi remained a backward child due to an injury in her head when she was ten months old. She was fair and pretty at birth but when she was two years old, she had an attack of smallpox which left deep black marks all over her body. She started speaking only when she turned five but she stammered when she spoke and as a result she was always mimicked or made fun of by the other children. Therefore, Bholi talked very little. Unlike Ramlal’s other children, she was not healthy and strong. She was frightened at first when her father wanted to take her to school. But when she was bathed and given new clothes to wear, she began to believe that she was being taken to a place better than her home. Bholi did not know what exactly a school was and what happened there, but when she saw girls like her present there, she was glad. She hoped that one of those girls would become her friend. In the class when her teacher asked her name, she tried to say but the girls started laughing when she stammered. She cried and kept her head down throughout the class. When her teacher called out her name softly after the class was over, she was very touched because no one had every spoken to her in such soft voice. The teacher was very encouraging and friendly to her and this made her gain confidence to speak. She started seeing a ray of hope for a new life. After years of gaining education and with the help of her teacher, Bholi turned into a confident girl. She no longer stammered and could speak properly. She even had the courage to refuse marrying the lame old man because he was greedy and asked money from her father to marry her. On seeing her father worried about her marriage, she said that he need not worry as she would teach in the same school where she learnt so much and would take care of him and her mother in their old age.

The older generation is surely feeling lonesome and a kind of isolation in the current scenario of both partners of the younger generation working. This is especially felt as it is a changing phase in their life.
The older generation lived and earned for their children. Their world would revolve around the life of their children. They were doing their to best to have a good standard of living and providing well for their children too. The nuclear family trend started at the same time. People felt they wanted to give their kids the best of everything, be it education, comfort, training in sports etc.
They felt they could provide the best with fewer children to take care of. Some people have even done away with one child.
They are feeling the repercussion now when the children are busy leading their own lives and have very little or no time to pay attention to them.
The children may see to their elders' comforts by ensuring the same but what the older generation needs is companionship and a bit of affection shown.

A Fixture is a fixed schedule where day, date and time are mentioned for the participating teams or players. It is fixed on the basis of lots and it is important to see and check that previous years winner and runner-up teams are in different halves. It is decided beforehand whether the tournament will be knockout. league or combination and accordingly schedule is fixed. We call it as fixture of the tournament. Knockout-cum-league fixture of 23 teams. n = 23, n in upper half = 12, no. of Byes = 32 - 23 = 9 n in lower half = 11, nb in upper half = 4 nb in lower half = 5 Till quarter finals, teams will play knockout matches after that teams which reached quarter will play league matches, to declare the true winner. Cyclic league fixture: The teams which reached quarter finals are : 1, 5, 7 , 12, 13, 16, 21, 23. n = 8, Rounds = n - 1 = 7, Matches = 8(8-1)/2 = 28 Likewise as per the point system all the teams will get their ranking. Win - 2 points, Draw - 1 point, Loss - 0 point add the score of all the matches. The team with the maximum points will win.

JavaScript started life as Live Script, but Netscape changed the name, possibly because of the excitement being generated by Java.to JavaScript. JavaScript is a lightweight, interpreted programming language with object-oriented capabilities that allows you to build interactivity into otherwise static HTML pages. The general-purpose core of the language has been embedded in Netscape, Internet Explorer, and other web browsers. Client-side JavaScript is the most common form of the language. The script should be included in or referenced by an HTML document for the code to be interpreted by the browser. It means that a web page need no longer be static HTML, but can include programs that interact with the user, control the browser, and dynamically create HTML content.

Consider a parallel plate capacitor without any dielectric medium (vacuum) between the plates. Let A be the area of the plates and d be the plate separation. The two plates have charges Q and – Q. Since d is much smaller than the linear dimension of the plates (d2 << A),
Plate 1 has surface charge density σ = Q/A and plate 2 has a surface charge density – σ. Using earlier result of the electric field in different regions is: Outer region I (region above the plate 1),
Outer region II (region below the plate 2),
In the inner region between the plates 1 and 2, the electric fields due to the two charged plates add up, giving
The direction of electric field is from the positive to the negative plate. Thus, the electric field is localised between the two plates and is uniform throughout. For plates with finite area, this will not be true near the outer boundaries of the plates. The field lines bend outward at the edges – an effect called ‘fringing of the field’. Hence σ will not be strictly uniform on the entire plate.
However, for d2 << A, these effects can be ignored in the regions sufficiently far from the edges, and the field there is given by Eq. (1). Now for uniform electric field, potential difference is simply the electric field times the distance between the plates, that is,
The capacitance C of the parallel plate capacitor is then
which, as expected, depends only on the geometry of the system.

- Bile is produced in the liver. The bile juice stored in a sac called the gall bladder. It helps in the digestion of fats. It is a greenish-yellow alkaline (basic in nature) liquid, which is stored in the Gall Bladder.
- Bile is secreted into the small intestine where it helps in the digestion of fats(lipids). It actually doesn't digest fats but breaks the fat molecules into smaller pieces to make their digestion easy. This process is called fat emulsification.

Right Occupation or Right Livelihood
We often spend a lot of time at work, but even if we do not work, Right Occupation refers to our habitual, everyday actions. Our regular activities should not infringe Right Speech and Right Action. What we do on a regular basis is more likely to establish bad karma than what we do as a one off.
Gotama gave various examples of wrong occupation, those that involve:
- deceit,
- treachery,
- soothsaying,
- trickery,
- usury.
Also, specifically, those trading
- in arms:
- in living beings,
- in flesh,
- in intoxicating drinks, and
- in poison'.
The professions of a soldier, a fisherman, a hunter, etc, are considered unfitting for a Buddhist.
