Moving away from British classification, historians have usually divided Indian history into ‘ancient’, ‘medieval’ and ‘modern’. This division too has its problems:

It is a periodisation that is borrowed from the West where the modern period was associated with the growth of all the forces of modernity – science, reason, democracy, liberty and equality. Medieval was a term used to describe a society where these features of modern society did not exist.

British rule people did not have equality, freedom or liberty. Nor was the period one of economic growth and progress. Many historians therefore refer to this period as ‘colonial’.

His personality: The rattrap peddler was a poor man who lived the life of a vagabond. He had a great imagination. He wore rags, his cheeks were sunken and hunger gleamed in his eyes. His livelihood: He went round selling self-made small rattraps of wire. This wire, he got by begging. He had some human weaknesses like thievery and begging to fulfil his basic needs. Devoid of any sheltering place, he spent his nights wherever he found shelter. His philosophy: He feels that the world is just like a big rat trap. It exists only for the purpose of setting baits for people. According to him, all the riches, joys, food, clothing and shelter are just baits. If and when, anyone touches the bait, the rattrap closes on him. Then everything comes to an end. His inner goodness: Influenced by Edla’s good behaviour, he repents over his misdeed and returns the money stolen by him.

Following are four important ideals on which the Preamble to the Indian Constitution lays special emphasis:

Justice – This ideal implies that citizens of India cannot be discriminated on the basis of caste, religion and gender. It entrusts the Government of India with the removal of social inequalities and the welfare of all, especially the disadvantaged groups.

Liberty – This ideal establishes that there are no unreasonable restrictions on Indian citizens in terms of what they think, their manner of expression and the way they wish to follow up their thoughts in action.

Equality – It asserts that all Indian citizens are equal before the law of the land. It recognises that the traditional social inequalities are irrelevant and the government is obliged to ensure equality of opportunity for all citizens.

Fraternity – It means that all citizens should behave as if they are part of the same family. No one should treat a fellow citizen as inferior

In the poem "wind" the poet describes wind as a naughty creature

who comes and destroys everything. The poet says that the wind will blow away papers and will

pull down the book shelves. The strong will even tears away the pages of the books. Then the poet says that the wind also brings rain along with it.Then the poet requests the wind not cause any destruction. The poet says that we can symbolise the wind as a problem in our life. The person who is emotionally weak won't survive the problems abd will breakdown easily while a strong person will survive and circumstance

In region-I: Magnetic field due to 2A and 3A current wire is in opposite direction. In region-II:- Here, also magnetic field due to 2A and 3A currents wire is in opposite direction. But, it is highly probable, in region I, that we can have neutral points, because B1 = 2μo2πR12μo2πR1 ; B2 = 3μo2πR23μo2πR2 for region I, R2 > R1 and I2(3A) > I1(2A) and B1 and B2 are in opposite directions, so net magnetic intensity will become zero at existing neutral point.(highly probable).Read more on Sarthaks.com - https://www.sarthaks.com/968837/two-straight-infinitely-long-wires-are-fixed-in-space-so-that-the-current-in-the-left-wire-is

Your, real property is what you have in your hand. You are master of it and you use it in any way. The amount you have given to others is yours but you are not certain to get it. So be contented with what you have and live in the present. At this means that you must be practical and realistic. Hopes and dreams may transport you to green postures but do not depend on them. Tomorrow is shrouded in mystery and uncertainty. Do not stake your rupee in the hope of doubling it. Gambling may render you a pauper. So the money in your hand is worth the double of what you hope to get. Learn to be satisfied and contented with what you have in hand. Prosperity of other people makes you jealous and crazy. No use of grumbling as you can't come upon that prosperity. It is better to make most of your own resources. People spend their lifetime savings on lottery tickets to get rich over-night. They regret later on. The way to survive and thrive is to feel contented with what you have.
