  • Rural population in India normally borrows money from money lenders at higher rates of interest.
  • Rural people seek money lenders(Informal source of credit) due to limited expansion of credit by the formal sectors in the rural areas.
  • Formal sectors in India are mostly urban biased and increasing their presence in the rural areas will reduce the dependence of rural people on the informal sector.

Deepak Kul 5 years, 1 month ago (9915877)

By opening more cooperative society. By opening self help group centre in rural areas. In this way we protect rural people from debt trap made by people of informal sector.

King Adithya H M... 5 years, 1 month ago (9827241)

dependence on informal sources of credit can be reduced by opening of more banks and cooperatives at the rural level,usually informal lenders charge high intersest rate which can put the people in conditions of debt trap.

The mode of nutrition in Amoeba is holozoic.

<a data-download-href="https://ask.learncbse.in/uploads/db3785/1bdc443fbba9bc4dcefbbbe4769321e896e88baf" href="https://ask.learncbse.in/uploads/db3785/original/2X/1/1bdc443fbba9bc4dcefbbbe4769321e896e88baf.jpg" title="image.jpg"></a>

The various steps involved in the process of nutrition are:

Ingestion: Amoeba ingests food with the help of its finger-like extensions, called pseudopodia. When a food particle approaches Amoeba, it forms pseudopodia around it and forms a food vacuole inside the Amoeba.
Digestion: Various enzymes from the cytoplasm enter into the food vacuole and break them down into simple soluble molecules.
Absorption: The simple soluble food is absorbed by cytoplasm of Amoeba from food vacuoles through the process of diffusion.
Assimilation: Amoeba cell obtains energy from the absorbed food through respiration. This energy is utilised by Amoeba for its growth and repair of the body.
Egestion: When a considerable amount of undigested food gets collected inside Amoeba, its cell membrane ruptures and throws out the undigested food.

The First World War (1914), created a new economic and political situation worldwide. It led a huge increase in defence expenditure which was financed by war loans and increasing taxes; custom duties were raised and income tax introduced.

Impact of the First World War on Society

Between 1913 to 1918, the prices of foodgrains increased largely which led to extreme hardship for the common people. The peasantry suffered from heavy rents and taxes. Villagers were called upon to supply soldiers. This forced recruitment in rural areas caused widespread anger. After the war, foreign goods once again began to be imported and foreign capital began to be invested in a large sdale. Indian industries faced heavy losses and even closure.

Social Conditions after the War

In 1918-19 and 1920-21, crops failed in many parts of India, resulting in acute shortage of food. There was also an influenza epidemic. According to the census of 1921, 12 to 13 million people died as a result of famines and the epidemic. People hoped their sufferings would be reduced after the war, but that did not happen.

Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions that follow: One of the greatest advances in modern technology has been the invention of computers. They are widely used in industries and in universities , Now there is hardly any sphere of human life where computers have not been pressed into service of man.We are heading fast towards the day when a computer will be as much part of man's daily life as a telephone or a calculator. 2: Computers are capable of doing extremely complicated work in all branches of learning They can solve the most complex mathematical problems or put thousands of unrelated facts in order. These machines can be put to varied uses. For instance, they can provide information on the best way to prevent traffic jams. This whole process by which machines can be used to work for us has been called automation .in the future automation may enable human beings to enjoy more leisure than they do today. The coming of automation is bound to have important social consequences. 3 some years ago expert on automation, sir leon bagrit,pointed out that it was a mistake to believe that these machines ". through computers are capable of learning from their mistakes and improving o their performance, they need detailed instructions from human beings to operate. they can never, as it were, lead independent lives or " rule the world " by making decisions of their own. 4 sir leon said that in future, computers would be developed which would be small enough to carry in the pocket. ordinary people would then be able to use them to obtain valuable information. computers could be plugged into a national network and be used like radios. for instance, people going on holiday could be informed about weather conditions. car drivers can be given alternative routes when there are traffic jams. it will also be possible to make tiny translating machines. this will enable people who do not share a common language to talk to each other without any difficulty or to read foreign publications. 5 it is impossible to assess the importance of a machine of this sort, for many international misunderstandings are caused simply due to our failure to understand each other. computers will also be used in ordinary public hospitals. by providing a machine with a patient 's system, a doctor will be able to diagnose the nature of his illness. similarly machines could be used to keep a check on a patient's health record and keep it up to date. doctor will, therefore, have immediate access to great many facts which will help them in their work. Answer the following questions briefly: a. state main capabilities of computer ( any two) b. what is automation? c. what benefi can man derive from automation? d. why can't computer repolace man ? e. find the synonyms of the following words from the passage: (1 ) results (2) monotonous

STEPS: 1: On a numberline mark AB = 9.3 unit & BC= 1 unit.

2: Mark O the mid point of AC

3: Draw a semicircle with O as centre & OA as radius

4: At B draw a perpendicular BD.

5: BD = √9.3 unit

6: Now, B as centre, BD as radius, draw an arc, meeting the numberline at E.

Now, with BD or BE = √9.3 as radius , with 0 ( origin) of the number line as centre, draw an arc on the the number line, intersecting at point ‘k’. And this point ‘k' lies between integers 3 & 4, & represents √9.3

JUSTIFICATION:

BD = √ {(10.3/2)² - (8.3/2)²}

=> BD = √{10.3²- 8.3²)/4 }

=> BD = √{(10.3+8.3)(10.3–8.3)/4}

=> BD = √{18.6*2/4}

=> BF = √{37.2/4}

=> BD = √9.3 = BE

In case of species area relationship given by Alexander von Humboldt, steeper slopes (Z values in the range of 0.6 to 1.2) are obtained when species relationships are plotted among very large areas like the entire continents. Steeper slopes signifies that number of species found increases faster than the area explored in very large areas like the entire continents.

The slope of regression in species-area relationship predicts species richness of an area. It indicates the dependency of species richness on the area as higher slope reflects higher dependency of the area. Taking into account of a large area, such as country, the slope is almost linear with the area. For a smaller area, lower slope value indicates independence of species richness over the area.

What is the use of a query?

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago (2577571)

The Eraser Tool is used in concert with the Drawing and Painting Tools to obtain final, usable art. As the name implies, the Eraser Tool is primarily used for erasing. When the Eraser Tool is active, three options appear in the Options Tray, as shown below. The Erase Mode option and the Eraser Shape option are both drop-down menus with multiple options. The third option, the Faucet button, is used to clear enclosed areas of fill. The only alternative to using the Eraser Tool to remove graphic elements or areas of drawings is to select them and then delete them by pressing either the Delete or the Backspace key.
