When the positive and negative charges grow large enough, a giant spark - lightning - occurs between thetwo charges within the cloud. This is like a static electricity sparks you see, but much bigger. Most lightninghappens inside a cloud, but sometimes it happens between thecloud and the ground.

HTML is a markup language, which is used to define the layout and attributes of a World Wide Web (WWW) document as well as to create links between Web pages.
HTML is the underlying foundation of Website design. It is a subset of SGML (Standard Generalised Markup Language) and a high-level markup language.
HTML is a short form of HyperText Markup Language, which means
(i) HyperText is simply a piece of text that has some extra features like formatting, images, multimedia and links to another document.
(ii) Markup Language is a way of writing layout information within documents. HTML is a page layout and hyperlink specification language. It allows images and other objects to be embedded that can be used to create interactive forms. HTML documents are described through HTML tags or elements.

To test if a body is charged or not, another uncharged body is brought in contact and seen whether the uncharged body is charged or not.

If a charged body (for example, ebonite rod) is touched to the metal disc of the gold-leaf electroscope, the metal strips of the electroscope gets charged by conduction. They repel each other and open up. In this way, we can detect whether an object is charged or not.

The sky above Earth appears to rotate because of the rotation of the Earth. The apparent fixed stars go East to West as the Earth rotates West to East. But since the axis of rotation of Earth passes through pole star, it is that point about which the sky rotates and hence the pole star appears fixed.

The last century was the century of Information Technology revolution. With the great breakthrough in the world of communication by the use of worldwide network of telephone lines, satellite launching and computers, the world has come very close. Sending a letter by post is virtually becoming obselete. Now is the time of e-mail, chats and video conferencing. All this has become possible because of networking.
NETWORK
A group of autonomous computers and associated devices connected together by communication channels like cables or telephone lines etc. is called a network.
In a network, the computers work as stand alone machines but can communicate with other computers on the network as and when required.
Types of Networks
There are mainly three types of networks as discussed below:
1. LAN (Local Area Network): A network spread over a diameter of minimum 1 m to maximum 10 km is called a local area network. It is usually installed within a building or a group of buildings.
2. MAN (Metropolitan Area Network): This type of network spans a small city. It is used by cable (TV) operators for program distribution.
3. WAN (Wide Area Network): This type of network spans an entire country and very often several countries. The speed of data transmission is a bit slower than that of LAN and the error rate is also high as the data has to travel over very long distances.

Tangents drawn from am external point to a circle
are equal in length
so from the diagram we get
AH= AE; DH = DG; CG=CF
4−x=x y=2y−3
2x=4 y=3
x=2
As x=2 DH = 5 − AH = 5−(4−x) =3
as DH=DG DG=3
So Length of CD=CG+GD
=3+3=6

Lencho was a farmer. He was not so poor and not so rich farmer. He was having a great faith in God. This we came to know from his letter addressed to God. He did so for the compensation of his crops. Actually the hail stones destroyed his crops and he thought that now his family would starve throughout the whole year. But he was very religious person, so he decided to ask the God for his help. In his letter to God he asked the God for 100 pesos. But his letter was not reached to God. It were the post office employees who sent the 70 pesos for help. And Lencho called the post office employees as “a bunch of crooks”. While they helped him. Because of this we can say that Lencho was a foolish person too (in the sense of innocence).

Alvars were devotees of Vishnu and Nayanars were devotees of Shiva. They travelled from one place to another singing in praise of their Gods. Chola kings supported them by giving them land and grants. The temple at Chidambaram, Thanjavar and Gangaikanda Cholapuram were constructed under their patronage.
