2 km= 2000 m
Let the % be x.
x%×2000= 875
=> x/100×2000=875
=> 20x=875
=> x= 875/20
= 43.75
Therefore answer= 43.75%

The literal meaning of ‘Comprehension’ is understanding. It shows how well you have understood a paragraph that you have read or how correctly you have grasped its meaning. To test it, a set of questions is given after a paragraph relating to the subject matter. The answers are contained in the passage. It only requires a bit of intelligence to identify the sentence or sentences that form the answer of a particular question. Write them down in your own hand. It is simple. The exercise of the comprehension is meant to assess and better the ability of a student to read and comprehend what he reads. Sometimes the answers need to be written in the student’s own words, although not very different from t’ Le given text, only a little adjustment to have the sentence grammatically and meaning-wise correct. Hence, a student must be able to express his thoughts precisely in correct words.

Subject-verb concord is when the subject of a sentence and the verb of a sentence agree. Simply, if the subject of the sentence is singular, the verb must be singular. If the subject of a sentence is plural, the verb must be plural.

Midbrain is located between the thalamus region of the forebrain and pons region of the hindbrain. It helps in the relay of information from the hindbrain to the midbrain. The dorsal surface of midbrain consists of superior and inferior corpora bigemina and four round lobes called corpora quadrigemina. A canal known as cerebral aqueduct passes through the midbrain. The midbrain is concerned with the sense of sight and hearing.

Basic Proportionality Theorem states that, if a line is parallel to a side of a triangle which intersects the other sides into two distinct points,then the line divides those sides of the triangle in proportion.
Let ABC be the triangle.
The line l parallel to BC intersect AB at D and AC at E.
To prove AD/DB =AE/EC
Join BE,CD
Draw EF⊥AB, DG⊥CA
Since EF⊥AB,
EF is the height of triangles ADE and DBE
Area of △ADE=1/2 × base × height=1/2AD×EF
Area of △DBE= 1/2 ×DB×EF
areaofΔDBEareaofΔADE=1/2×AD×EF/ 1/2×DB×EF=AD/DB ........(1)
Similarly,
areaofΔDCEareaofΔADE= 1/2 ×AE×DG/ 1/2 ×EC×DG =AE/EC ......(2)
But ΔDBE and ΔDCE are the same base DE and between the same parallel straight line BC and DE.
Area of ΔDBE= area of ΔDCE ....(3)
From (1), (2) and (3), we have
AD/DB =AE/EC
Hence proved.
