Guanine

Yogita Ingle 5 years ago (2577571)

Purines are compounds that contain a six- membered ring that has nitrogen in it as well. This ring is further fused with an imidazole ring. Thus, purines are structures that have two rings. Purines that are found in the nucleic acids are Adenine (A) and Guanine (G).

Path dependent forces

Yogita Ingle 5 years ago (2577571)

Nonconservative forces are forces which act on a body and the work done on the body by the force is dependent on the path followed. During the motion of a body due to non-conservative force, mechanical energy is dissipated, so we can call the non-conservative forces as dissipative courses.

Gaurav Seth 5 years ago (2898529)

A non-conservative force is the one for which work done depends on the path. For eg, frictional force. Friction does more work on the block if one slides it along the indirect path across the tabletop. The longer the path, the more work friction does.

Equivalent fractions are the fractions that have different numerator and denominator but are equal to the same value
Equivalent fractions state that two or more than two fractions are said to be equal if both results are the same fraction after simplification. Let us say, a/b and c/d are two fractions, after the simplification of these fractions, both result in equivalent fraction, say e/f, then they are equal to each other.
step 1 : multiply or divide the numerator and denominator with the same natural number .
step 2 : the required equivalent fraction is obtained .
step 3 : to obtain many equivalent fractions multiply / divide the numerator & denominator with many no.
1/5 = 1 x 2 / 5 x 2 => 2 / 10  (  multiplying the numerator and denominator by two )
     1/5 = 1 x 3 / 5 x 3 => 3 / 15  (  multiplying the numerator and denominator by three )
    1/5 = 1 x 4 / 5 x 4 => 4 / 20  (  multiplying the numerator and denominator by four )
    1/5 = 1 x 5 / 5 x 5 => 5 / 25 (  multiplying the numerator and denominator by five )
    1/5 = 1 x 6 / 5 x 6 => 6 / 30 (  multiplying the numerator and denominator by six )
Therefore ,  2 / 15 , 3 / 15 , 4 / 20 , 5 / 25 , 6 / 30 are five equivalent fractions of  1 / 5 .

The difference between unitary and federal government is 1. Unitary government puts it power in one central government . 2. In federal government the governing power is divided into federal and local governing bodies that connect to national government . Examples : for federal government is the United States??, the federal Republic of Germany??, Australia??.

Gaurav Seth 5 years ago (2898529)

1. Under the unitary system, there is only one level of government or there are sub-units which are subordinate to the central government. Whereas, in a federal system, there is decentralization of power i.e. central level, state level, grass root level.

2. In a unitary system, the power is centralized in the hands of the central government and every order passed by it has to be enacted. However, in a federal system, a state government or grass root level has its own powers. Additionally, the central government cannot act in an autocratic manner.

3. In a federal system, criteria of dual citizenship may exist. For example - U.S.A. In India, no such criterion exists. In contrast, the unitary system does not practice any system of dual citizenship.

Uses and gratifications theory (UGT) is an approach to understanding why and how people actively seek out specific media to satisfy specific needs. UGT is an audience-centered approach to understanding mass communication. Diverging from other media effect theories that question "what does media do to people?", UGT focuses on "what do people do with media?"It postulates that media is a highly available product and the audiences are the consumers of the same product.

The total addition made to the capital stock of economy in a given period is termed as Gross Investment. Capital stock consists of fixed assets and unsold stock. So, gross investment is the expenditure on purchase of fixed assets and unsold stock during the accounting year.

However, gross investment does not indicate the actual change in economy’s stock of productive assets for a given year. During the production process, some amount of fixed capital is used up. This loss of fixed capital is known as depreciation. By subtracting depreciation from gross investment, we get Net Investment.

Net Investment:

The actual addition made to the capital stock of economy in a given period is termed as Net Investment.

Net Investment = Gross Investment – Depreciation

Gross investment is the total addition made to the capital stock of an economy over a given period of time whereas net investment is the actual addition made to the capital stock of an economy. The only difference between gross and net investment is the depreciation of capital assets that happens over a period of time. Gross investment consists of depreciation whereas net investment does not include depreciation. Hence, if depreciation is deducted from gross investment it can be equal to net investment.

The borders that we see around us are all man made. These borders turn some countries into enemies against one another. However, humanity knows no bounds of any such divisions. Dr. Sadao Hoki was in no sense less patriotic that any other Japanese. He loved his country and hated his enemies as much as other citizens of Japan but his sensitivity towards other human beings led him to operate upon the American prisoner of war. Being a skilled doctor by profession, he just could not manage to see a patient die in front of him. The sense of humanity overpowered him and made him to save the life of his 'enemy'. The story, therefore, exemplifies that human goodness surpasses all other factors.

The fundamental accounting equation is assets= capital + liabilities.
As every accounting equation has two effects( debit and credit). Revenues lead to increase in assets or capital while expenses reduce assets and may also create liability. Revenue and expenses, therefore, are the reasons for stability and soundness of the balance sheet.

In ΔABC,

Length of two tangents drawn from the same point to the circle are equal,
∴ CF = CD = 6cm
∴ BE = BD = 8cm
∴ AE = AF = x

We observed that,
AB = AE + EB = x + 8
BC = BD + DC = 8 + 6 = 14
CA = CF + FA = 6 + x

Now semi perimeter of circle s,
⇒ 2s = AB + BC + CA
         = x + 8 + 14 + 6 + x
         = 28 + 2x
⇒s = 14 + x

Area of ΔABC = √s (s - a)(s - b)(s - c)

                         = √(14 + x) (14 + - 14)(14 + - x - 6)(14 + - x - 8)

                         = √(14 + x) (x)(8)(6)

                         = √(14 + x) 48 x ... (i)

also, Area of ΔABC = 2×area of (ΔAOF + ΔCOD + ΔDOB)

                                 = 2×[(1/2×OF×AF) + (1/2×CD×OD) + (1/2×DB×OD)]

                                 = 2×1/2 (4+ 24 + 32) = 56 + 4... (ii)

Equating equation (i) and (ii) we get,

√(14 + x) 48 = 56 + 4x

Squaring both sides,

48x (14 + x) = (56 + 4x)2

⇒ 48x = [4(14 + x)]2/(14 + x)

⇒ 48x = 16 (14 + x)

⇒ 48x = 224 + 16x

⇒ 32x = 224

⇒ x = 7 cm

Hence, AB = x + 8 = 7 + 8 = 15 cm
CA = 6 + x = 6 + 7 = 13 cm
