The author’s grandmother was a religious lady with a kind heart. She moved about in the house “telling the beads of her rosary”. Her lips constantly moved in “inaudible prayer”. She said her morning prayers in monotonous sing-song hoping that the author would learn it by heart. Every day, she went along with the author to his school and sat in the temple that was attached to it, reading the holy books for hours. She believed in the teachings about God and scriptures and did not like that her grandson was not taught about them in the city school. Gradually, she turned to recite prayers throughout the day. Before dying, she stopped talking to her family members and turned to prayers, and counting the beads.

They did not ate bread crumbs thrown by the author's mother. they surrounded the corpse silently and flew away when the corpse was taken away. Also it was a tribute to the dead grandmother.

It took us 71 years to achieve independence from the British Raj. But even after we became independent, there was a class of people especially women who still hadn’t achieved independence and even today are struggling for it. However, there were a few reformers who tried to reform our society for the good and have succeeded to a large extent. ?Reformers in India? India has been a victim of a lot of social problems like inequality against women and people of lower castes and tribes. Many reformers had come ahead to fight all these problems. For example, Periyar E.V. Ramaswamy tried to destroy the inequality against untouchables. Social reformers like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Dayanand Saraswati, Veeraslingam Pantulu, Pandita Ramabai, Mumtaz Ali, Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar, etc supported equality for women and eradicate problems like social problems like Sati, child marriage, dowry, etc. Caste System in India Caste Hope its help ??

A small social enterprise called Mera Gao Power (MGP)in Sitapur is trying to build a network of Solar micro-grids. They are putting two solar panels at a time. In just over a year, MGP has connected more than 3,500 customers to solar power mini- grids at a village level. Solar power, as a 'smokeless' source of light, comes with added benefits to customer health. The people of the village says that there is no pollution in their homes . New businesses are starting to emerge amongst the customers , customers are using the light to weave saris by night. It's nice to have light while they cook and eat. Specific resistance is a property of a conductor to oppose current. It depends upon nature of material of conductor and temperature of conductor. Cu and Al are considered best to make wires used in various circuits because their specific resistance is very low.

By elimination method - 4x + 5y = 14-------1 2x + 5y = 12-------2 By subtracting eq 1 and 2 2x = 2 X = 2/2 x = 1 Putting x=1 in eq 2 2(1) + 5y = 12 Y = 12 - 2 / 5 Y = 10/ 2 Y = 5

Structure of atmosphere

Tisha ??? 4 years, 11 months ago (9384394)

1 Troposphere- this is the lowermost layer of the atmosphere . It's average height is 16 km , although it is only 10 km at the poles than at the equator . Temperature decreases with height in This layer , roughly at the rate of 1 degree Celsius for 165 metres ( or consequently 0. 65 degree Celsius per 100 meters ) of ascent . This is known as normal lapse rate . 2. Stratosphere- it extends uoto height of 50 km . It is thicker at the poles than at the equator the Temperature remains almost constant in its lower portion uoto a height of 20 km consequently , it is known as stratosphere. 3 Mesosphere - it lies above stratosphere and extends from 50to 90 km . 4. Heterosphere ( thermosphere ) - heterosphere extends above the homosphere i.e . Above the level of Mesosphere . It has hetrogeneous chemical composition with alter structure of nitrogen, oxygen , helium and hydrogen. 5 . Ionosphere - it extends from 100 to 400 km and lies above Mesosphere . It contains electrically charged particles which are known as ions, hence Thus layer is called ionosphere 6. Exosphere - the upper most layer of the atmosphere beyond the ionosphere above a height of about 400 km is known as exosphere
