In the chapter on the face of it these refers to something that appears to be seems to be. In these chapter there are two character first is Derry and second is Mr lamb . So the Derry is in frustration , he believes that the people was afraid of him . And about Mr lamb he was in positive attitude, he was tiny leg but after all he have an positive attitude. Both Derry and Mr lamb are physical flaws . Then Derry met with Mr lamb and however Mr lamb change Derry's attitude. Mr lamb change Derry's attitude from negative to positive attitude. Mr. Lamb played an important role in helping Derry starting to view himself and how Derry accept the reality(positive) and he accepted the all things.
