Both thunder and lightning takes place at the same time . When two clouds collide with each other lightning and Thunder occurs simultaneously. The speed of light is more than the speed of sound. The speed of sound in air is 346 metre per second whereas the speed of light in air is 299 792 kilometre per second. Hence, the speed of light is more then the speed of sound in air. And so for that in a cloudy day we can hear the sound of thunder after we see the crack of the lightening.

When zinc is heated with sulphur powder ,they mix carefully with each other and the mixture is stable sitting of the laboratory bench. When the mixture is touched with a heated metal rod, however, a violent reaction occurs (the reaction is termed exothermic; producing heat) and zinc sulfide is formed as the product. And the Chemical formula is Zn (s) + S (s) → ZnS (s)
