Ninhydrin reacts with the α-amino group of primary amino acids producing 'Ruhemann's purple'. The chromophore formed is the same for all primary amino acids. The intensity of the colour formed depends on the number and chemical nature of the amino groups being analysed. The optimum pH for the overall reaction is 5.5. Free amino groups will react with the ninhydrin reagent to yield a purple solution. Almost all amino acids contain a free amino group (except proline and hydroxyproline). Some proteins also give a positive test with ninhydrin. Proline and hydroxy proline give a yellow spot upon reaction with Nihhydrin. This color difference is due to the lack of a primary amine that all of the other protein amino acids have.

Permittivity, also called electric permittivity, is a constant of proportionality that exists between electric displacement and electric field intensity. This constant is equal to approximately 8.85 x 10-12 farad per meter (F/m) in free space (a vacuum). It is the measure of resistance of a medium in an electric field, it is denoted by Greek letter epsilon (ε) More litrelly ,it defined as the “amount of charge (q) needed to generate one unit of electric flux”. In electromagnetism, the absolute permittivity, often simply called permittivity and denoted by the Greek letter ε (epsilon), is a measure of the electric polarizability of a dielectric.

The U.S. and the Soviet Union had different ideas about how to run an economy (business) and government. The U.S. believed in Capitalism – a system where ordinary people and businesses control the production of goods and services. The Soviet Union influenced Eastern Europe, while the U.S. influenced Western Europe. The economy of the Soviet Union was based on a system of state ownership of the means of production, collective farming, industrial manufacturing and centralized administrative planning.

A switch, in the context of networking is a high-speed device that receives incoming data packets and redirects them to their destination on a local area network (LAN). A LAN switch operates at the data link layer (Layer 2) or the network layer of the OSI Model and, as such it can support all types of packet protocols. A switch is used to network multiple computers together. Switches made for the consumer market are typically small, flat boxes with 4 to 8 Ethernet ports. These ports can connect to computers, cable or DSL modems, and other switches. High-end switches can have more than 50 ports and often are rack mounted.
