Harappans grew wheat, barley, pulses, peas, rice, sesame, linseed, and mustard. They also developed some new tools known as plough and was used to dig earth for planting the seeds and turning the soil. A method of irrigation was used due to less rainfall. The Harappan reared cattle sheep, goat, and buffalo. The most remarkable feature of Harappan civilisation was its urbanisation. The Harappan places which were small towns, show an advanced sense of town planning. The major centres are Harappa, Mohenjo-Daro, Kalibangan, Lothal, Sutkagen-Dor, Dholavira, etc. Usually towns were laid out in a parallelogrammic form.

The net electric charge of a conductor resides entirely on its surface. (The mutual repulsion of like charges from Coulomb's Law demands that the charges be as far apart as possible, hence on the surface of the conductor.) The electric field inside the conductor is zero. When an electric field E is applied to a conductor, free charges inside the conductor move until the field is perpendicular to the surface. ... The free charge has been brought to the conductor's surface, leaving electrostatic forces in equilibrium. A conductor placed in an electric field will be polarized.

Shock Therapy was a process of transformation of an authoritarian socialist system to a democratic capitalist system.
1. The transition was inspired by the World Bank and International Monetary fund in Russia, central Asia, and Eastern Europe.
2. The therapy was a sudden change that transformed the state-controlled economy into a free market economy.
The consequences of the Shock therapy were:
1. In Russia, the state-controlled industrial sector lost 90% of its industries. The industries were sold to private individuals and companies.
2. Restructuring of industries took place on a large scale. Hence, industries were undervalued and sold at a minimum rate.
3. The value of Russian currency declined and hence the economy of Russia too declined.

When Franz could not recite the chapter of participles, M.Hamel scolded everyone present in his class for ignoring the French class. He blamed the parents for being reluctant in sending their children to the school. The parents instead of sending the children to school regularly preferred sending them to the farm for work to earn some more money. M. Hamel also blamed himself and apologized for sending the students for watering his flower plants during the class hours, and also granting a leave to his students for going out for fishing.

The most important qualities of a good leader include integrity, accountability, empathy, humility, resilience, vision, influence, and positivity. “Management is about persuading people to do things they do not want to do, while leadership is about inspiring people to do things they never thought they could.”
Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act toward achieving a common goal. In a business setting, this can mean directing workers and colleagues with a strategy to meet the company's needs.

There are many factors that cause migration of people from villages to cities. Some villagers voluntarily move to the cities in search for jobs and better civic and health facilities, etc. Others are forced to migrate when natural disasters like flood, storm, drought, famine, etc. destroy their houses and properties. History has records of large scale migrations caused by wars. Also, many villagers who are better off than others manage to send their children to study in the cities. In the lesson 'Lost Spring', Saheb and his family migrates to Seemapuri from Dhaka after their houses were destroyed in the storms.
(A model answer has been provided for students' reference. It is strongly recommended that students prepare the answer based on their own experience and understanding.)
