The group 16 elements of modern periodic table consist of 5 elements oxygen, sulphur, selenium, tellurium and polonium. The elements in this group are also known as the chalcogens or the ore-forming elements because many elements can be extracted from the sulphide or oxide ores. The group VIA elements are called chalcogens because most ores of copper (Greek chalkos) are oxides or sulfides, and such ores contain traces of selenium and tellurium.

This miniature has been painted very beautifully in Mughal style by Ramdas in 1590 AD. The theme of this painting is based on an episode of Akbar Nama. It was on the occasion on birth of Prince Salim the whole people of Fatehpur Sikri and courtiers played music and celebrating the occasion. Some of them playing drum, clarinet and other instruments. Some royal officials distributing bounty to the people of Fatehpur Sikri. It is a typical example of the later manner of Emperor’s court artists. The birth scene of the son of Akbar and heir on August 31st, 1569, forms the subject of the upper compartment into which the picture is divided, the other two being filled with musicians and servants, with the surging excited crowd outside. Beyond is a rocky landscape. The painting is a good example of the bustling movement and stress which Akbar’s painters often introduced into their work. Among other points of interest in the painting is that the upper portion is the typical bird’s eye view while for the lower panel the artist (Ramdas) is on a level with the scene depicted. The strong colour contrasts, and the marked European influence, especially in the scenery and apparel, are especially evident in this painting.

In a governmental system, a party leader acts as the official representative of their political party. The party leader is typically responsible for managing the party's relationship with the general public. Democratic government, which is elected by and accountable to its citizens, protects individual rights so that citizens in a democracy can undertake their civic obligations and responsibilities, thereby strengthening the society as a whole.

A by-election, also spelled bye-election, and also known as a special election (United States, the Philippines) or a bypoll (India), is an election used to fill an office that has become vacant between general elections.
In most cases these elections occur after the incumbent dies or resigns, but they also occur when the incumbent becomes ineligible to continue in office (because of a recall, ennoblement, criminal conviction, or failure to maintain a minimum attendance). Less commonly, these elections have been called when a constituency election is invalidated by voting irregularities.
