The excessive growth of people either a boy or girl known as population explosion....

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 10 months ago

Causes of population of growth:
(1) In older days many deaths occurred due to diseases. But the development in medical sciences has controlled the diseases and brought about decrease in the death rate.
(2) Development in agriculture, better techniques to grow more and better quality food.
(3) Food available at all the times due to better storage conditions. So people do not die of starvation when food is not available.
(4) Man formed houses so that he is protected from wild animals and environment. He is safe from the elements of nature.
Consequences of population growth:
(1) Poverty: If the family is large it will become poor with limited income.
(2) Unhygienic living conditions due to more people living in a small area. This would increase diseases in people.
(3) Housing problem will arise as more houses will be required for the increasing population but they are not built at such a high rate.
(4) Pollution will be an added problem of high population. Large population will cause environmental pollution.

veto power means I saw no. it is used in UNSC for decision this power is enjoyed by the 5permanent members for say no to any decision.

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 10 months ago

In taking decisions, the Security Council proceeds by voting. All members have one vote. However, the permanent members can vote in a negative manner so that even if all other permanent and non-permanent members vote for a particular decision, any permanent member’s negative vote can stall the decision. This negative vote is the Veto.

Case 1 - Potential Energy due to two charges :  Consider two charges q1 and q2 with position vector r1 and r2 relative to some origin. Consider the charges q1 and q2 initially at infinity and determine the work done by an external agency to bring the charges to the given locations. Suppose, first the charge q1 is brought from infinity to the point vector r1. There is no external field against which work needs to be done, so work done in bringing q1 from infinity to vector r1 is zero. This charge produces a potential in space given by

where r1P is the distance of a point P in space from the location of q1. From the definition of potential, work done in bringing charge q2 from infinity to the point vector r2 is q2 times the potential at vector r2 due to q1:

Work done on q2

where r12 is the distance between points 1 and 2.

Since electrostatic force is conservative, this work gets stored in the form of potential energy of the system. Thus, the potential energy of a system of two charges q1 and q2 is

Obviously, if q2 was brought first to its present location and q1 brought later, the potential energy U would be the same.

Case 2 : Potential Energy due to three charges :

Let us calculate the potential energy of a system of three charges q1, q2 and q3 located at  vector r1, r2, r3, respectively. To bring q1 first from infinity to vector r1, no work is required. Next we bring q2 from infinity to  vector r2. As before, work done in this step is

The charges q1 and q2 produce a potential, which at any point P is given by

Work done next in bringing q3 from infinity to the point vector r3 is q3 times V1,2 at  vector r3

The total work done in assembling the charges at the given locations is obtained by adding the work done in different steps [Eq. (4) and Eq. (6)],

The potential energy is characteristic of the present state of configuration, and not the way the state is achieved.Read more on Sarthaks.com - https://www.sarthaks.com/424469/derive-an-expression-electric-potential-energy-of-a-system-of-charges

Those milecules/elements who have lone pair are electron donating grps. Alkyl are always electron donating .You can simply identify them in alliphatic molecules but the confusion arise in aromatic compound for example halogens are normally electron withdrawing but when connected in aromatic compound it act as electron donating. You can clear your confusion by just remembering 2 things:- 1. Halogens connected in aromatic compound are always E.D.G 2.any compound like (OCH3) in which Oxygen is more negative than carbon. If it is connected to ar.compound from Oxygen side (more -ve) than it will act as E.D.G as bcz carbon will try to repell the electrons.but if it is cnnctd through Carbon (less -ve) it will act as E.W.G bcz oxygen is nt directly connected to ar.ring so it will try to attract electrons Hope it will help 2 clear your confusion and remembering E.W.G and E.D.G

Hydropower is fueled by water, so it's a clean fuel source, meaning it won't pollute the air like power plants that burn fossil fuels, such as coal or natural gas. ... Because hydropower plants can generate power to the grid immediately, they provide essential back-up power during major electricity outages or disruptions.

See, First to subtract we need a common denominator. So 24 is the least common factor for 8 and 12. To make the denominator 8 as 24 we multiply it by 3 to compensate it we must multiply the numerator also by 3. For equalising 12 we multiply by 2 and again to compensate we multiply the numerator by 2. After doing this we get 3-2/24 which is equal to 1/24. Hope you understood !!
