The maximum (or reversible) work that can be done by a thermodynamic system at constant temperature and pressure is known as Gibbs energy. The reversible work in thermodynamics means a special method in which work is carried out such that the system is in perfect equilibrium with all its surroundings.

Current sensitivity : It is defined as the deflection of coil per unit current flowing in it.
Current Sensitivity,
Voltage sensitivity : It is defined on the deflection of coil per unit potential difference across its ends.
Voltage Sensitivty,
where G is resistance of galvanometer.
Justification: When number of turns N is doubled, then the current sensitivity (∝ N) is doubled; but at the same time, the resistance of galvanometer coil (G) will also be doubled, so voltage sensitivity (Sv ∝ N/G) will remain unchanged; hence inreasing current sensitivity does not necessarily increase the voltage sensitivity.

The balance of payments of a country is a systematic record of all economic transactions between its residents and residents of the foreign countries during a given period of time.
Note: Economic transactions are the transactions which cause transfer of value. In the context of foreign transactions value is transferred by the residents of one country to the residents of other country. Example: when exports of goods or services are made by country A to country B, value (= export receipts) is transferred by country B to country A. Between the countries, value is transferred in terms of foreign exchange (i.e. payments are received and made in terms of foreign exchange).

The current gain in the common-emitter circuit is called Beta (β). Beta is the relationship of collector current (output current) to base current (input current). To calculate beta, use the following formula :
β=ΔIC/ΔIB
The current gain in the common-base circuit is calculated in a method similar to that of the common emitter except that the input current is IE not IB and the term Alpha (α) is used in place of beta for gain. Alpha is the relationship of collector current (output current) to emitter current (input current). Alpha is calculated using the formula :
α=ΔIC/ΔIE
Thus, α=β/β+1

Le Chatelier’s principles, also known as the equilibrium law, are used to predict the effect of some changes on a system in chemical equilibrium (such as the change in temperature or pressure). The principle is named after the French chemist Henry Louis Le Chatelier.
Le Chatelier said that equilibrium adjusts the forward and backward reactions in such a way to accept the changes affecting the equilibrium conditions.
