In the report that the Governor give to the Secretary of Examinations, he mentioned that there was no record of violence against Evans. He was a peasant sort of chap. He was also one of the stars at the Christmas concert. He was a congenital kleptomaniac, but this was just a minor weakness.

Tanya ?? 4 years, 9 months ago

The governor tells that evans was quite and pleasant type of person. But he was suffering from a disease i.e. congenital kleptomaniac( physical abnormality in which a person steal items but not for personal use or for any financial reasons) .

Set A={0,1,2,3,4,5}

R be the equivalence relation on A.

Set R={(a,b)2divides(a−b)}

We have to find equivalnce class [0]

To find equivalence class {0},put b=0

⇒a−0 is multiple of 2 .

⇒ a is multiple of 2.

Multiples of 2 in given set are 0,2 and 4 .

Hence equivalence class {0}={0,2,4}

Unity of command:

Gaurav Seth 4 years, 9 months ago

Unity of command:

It means getting orders from a supervisor or on behalf of a supervisor. Accordingly, there should be only one supervisor for a subordinate. The link between the supervisor and the subordinate should be direct. If two or more supervisors are there for a subordinate there might be conflict of interest, uneasiness, confusion as well as dilemma. Such things are a direct influence to the overall efficiency, productivity and ultimate goal of an organisation.

Drishty Kamboj 4 years, 9 months ago

The phenomenon of emission of elctron from photosensitive metals(Na,Cs,Rd) when light of particular frequency is incident on its surface

Tanya ?? 4 years, 9 months ago

The phenomenon of emission of electrons from the surface of metal is called electron emission.

Gaurav Seth 4 years, 9 months ago

  • The process of emission of electrons from the metal surface when a certain amount of energy is absorbed by the metal, is called electron emission
  • There are free electrons on the metal surface, present in the outermost (valence) shell that are loosely bound to the nucleus
  • These electrons are emitted when a certain minimum amount of external energy is provided to the metal surface. This least value of energy is called work function of metal (denoted by Φ0)
  • The unit of Φ0 is electron volt(eV). 1eV is defined as the energy needed to accelerate an electron through the potential difference of 1volt(V).
  • Work function of a material depends mainly on the nature of metal, and electronic configuration of metal (meaning the number of valence shell electrons, lesser the number, lesser the work function)

Sociology is composed up of 2 greek words socius meaning society, logos means science or study etymologically its a science of society. In sociology we study about society.

Gaurav Seth 4 years, 9 months ago

  • The word Sociology is derived from the Latin word ‘socius’ meaning ‘companion or associate (society)’ and the Greek word ‘logos’ meaning ‘study or science’. Thus, the etymological meaning of ‘Sociology’ is the ‘science of society’.
  • Sociology is the study of human social life, groups and societies. Its subject matter is our own behaviour as social beings.
  • Sociology is not the first subject to study society. This is evident in the writings of philosophers, religious teachers, and legislators of all civilisations and epochs. Thinking about our lives and about society is by no means confined to philosophers and social thinkers. All of us do have ideas about our own everyday life.

A namespace is a way of grouping identifiers so that they don’t clash. Using a class implies that you can create an instance of that class, not true with namespaces.

A namespace cannot be created as an object; think of it more as a naming convention. It is used as additional information to differentiate similar functions, classes, variables etc. with the same name available in different libraries.
